Dangerous Romance - Episode 2

 

Steve is being three month since that incident my mother has encouraged me enough to move on with my life, i have decided to look for job . 

I put on a t shirt, jeans and fila slippers to take flesh air out the neighborhood.

On my way i meet a scene a young lady in her twenties slapping and insulting a man in his thirties there is another young lady in her twenties trying to stop her .

"You are fired"

give me my car key's a dip voice said that is Mr. James.

He and the two ladies enter the room leaving the fired worker out side.

Sorry man.

I said to him after approaching him.

Am James Paul he said. . He narrated how a drive hit his Boss car breaking the break light and his efforts to explain led to slaps from that arrogance daughter of Mr. James..

We exchange numbers after we both took opposite directions. 

I think this is opportunity for me to get a new job.

Mr. James will be needing a new driver.

I hurried home to break the news to my mother.

Saturday morning i was in Mr. James house it being two weeks since i started persuading him for the job.

The last time he newly gave me when Nancy her arrogant daughter told me to provide my school qualification and driving license, i have been able to get all documents that can provide me with the job.

I will give you the job on the following conditions Mr. James said.

first, you will wash my cars Morning and evening second, you don't use my car for your personal errands third you don't flirt around any of my daughter After the countless rules mounted on me got me tired already.

I my widen on hearing of some of the rules but i have no choice i need money to buy drugs for my mother's illness.

Work begins now, go out and wash that white car over there you are taking me to the supermarket..

I was in my room when i heard my sister talking on top of her voice to someone down stairs i come to meet Steve that handsome man who has being seeking for job from my father for almost two weeks now.

I wonder why a handsome young man like him can't afford himself with a good job.

"father today is Saturday"

I said

"Did you employ him," get out of my sight before you feel ur face in my palms.. i ran to my room after my room.

My father is never please with whatever i do he blames me of killing my mother, i was told my mother died after she gave birth to me i never tested her breast milk before she pass out.

In my room i was crying when i sport Steve from the window washing the car, i stand in the window staring at his handsome moving around on the car his eye lashes pointed nose he is a true creature of the most high. 

Are you thinking of Vera i promise myself not to fall for any man ever since Lucas cheated on me and duped me of all my life savings with Tonia my best friend.

I was drawn out of my thoughts when Nancy....What the hell are you doing? Nancy said .

Why are you staring at him licking your lips.??... was i licking my lips ...i said to my self ... Don't i have the right to look through my window?? I hope is not what am suspecting ?? She said whatever leave my room i want to be alone.

Nancy went to inform Vera that food was ready when i saw her licking her lips while staring at Steve .

Even though i don't like him but i admit i was slightly jealous when i saw her staring at him.

Did i saw i was jealous, no i can't be jealous for a mere driver

After taking Nancy to the supermarket she made me drop her at her friends we spent almost three hours there it was getting dark my mum will be worried by now.

My phone is off i have no charger to call her.... finally we are done for the day i drop her at Mr. James house and took a taxi to the house .

Son where have you been? Sorry mother my phone was off, am starving can i get something to eat before i answer all your questions ?.

I told her the happenings todays but mum mood changed at the mention of Mr. James, i hope this is not hiding anything from me. after dinner i takes a quick birth i need to sleep am tired, my phone blinks indicating a massage...who could be sending me message by this time of the night.....
