Mirabell kept her mouth gaped as she stared at the exorbitant individuals sitting comfortably on their sitting room. Their were soldiers standing like a statue at different angles of the sitting room and the police men was standing out side too. They are so wealthy no wonder her father was bent in perfect and relentless preparation.
"is she the one?"
the Mayor refereed to her father
"yes"
her father smiled.
"wow, pretty bride, please do close your mouth so flies won't find a way in their."
Frank teased and she blushed realising that she had been standing at a point with mouth in circle shape.
"but wait o, did he just referred to me as pretty bride?"
her sub-conscious mind popped out. She did a sharp re-thinking on that but referred to it as nothing for the main time.
"Dad I'm here . You sent for me."
she took all the courage in her to say that although she looked timid .
"i want you to meet our visitors"
Chief Gavin replied Ebullently putting on an apeaseing smile. Mirabell turned to the father and the son and greeted them officially and then shook hands with them like she will do each time she is handling a business deal.
Frank took her hand when she offered it for a hand shake and kissed it. She tried to withdraw her hand but he dragged her to himself and made her sit beside him against her wish

Frank made reference to Chief Gavin while they were enjoying their meal.

MIrabell shot at him. She was fed up with them referring to her as a bride when she knows she's definitely not.

Chief Gavin answered in place of Frank and that astonished mirabell.

she shot a dagger stare at her father
"Gavin , i think its time for you to do a proper introduction."
The Mayor impelled Chief gavin cleared his throat and every one lend him their maximum attention.
"twenty two years back when you were just one"
he kept glaring at his daugther.
" i attended a conference with your mother who brought you along. Our Mayor and his wife was present as well. Due to your efficient beauty, they were attracted to you and so considered on betrothing you to their son who was only three then.
