Chioma - Episode 32

 

Time seem to stop as they all watch the beast grow more ,it had legs and a tail, a big eye appeared in the middle of its small head, it was bigger than ever,a giant beast

Hmmmm! Chioma murmured blinking her eyes, she sat up stretching her hands, unawares of her environment, even the growls from the beast stopped, she started untying her left leg, wondering how she had slept for so long.

Dav....

Sssshhhh! David cautioned  but it was too late,the beast charged towards the table David grabbed the scissors on the ground and discarded the tapes binding her frets to the table,she landed next to him  just in time as the beast landed on the table, now he saw the doctors. David rolled his wife over"Are you okay?he whispered and she nodded holding her belly,God,he had forgotten his wife was pregnant he took her hand

"We would be fine,we just have to crawl under this table to the door,okay?she nodded again scared ,David took her in his arms slowly to avoid bumping his head on the table.

The beast waited ,daring any of those two to move,the door opened and it turned, but saw nobody,it was until it closed that all realized David and his wife have escaped.

Fuck it! Richard cussed standing up,he is the creator of the beast ,so why is he scared of its work,its suppose to obey him,he took a step forward and the beast snarled at him,obviously angry at him.

Don't go further! Gerald warned  but he gave him the middle finger...." I hate you ,Gerald . He said and took more steps towards the beast

I created this thing, I own it ,I can cont...       Before he could complete his statement, Richard was swept off the ground,he screamed as the beast swung him ,hitting the walls,he tried scrambling away,but the biotic bla bla bla fused his blood with its own,controlling him,so instead of Richard running away,he went towards it,his body crackled ,bones started shifting,and groans appeared from Richards mouth .Gerald  had crept under the table ,he thought of creeping out like David had but decided against,his friend was in danger,looking around he saw the bottle with the liquid...The antidote!he whispered ,the syringe beside it had  a broken butt but it was manageable with much pressure on it ,he emptied the red liquid into the syringe and crawled out of the table.

The beast snarled ,enjoying,as how Richard shouted in pains,just then he felt a presence  at his back ,with a left hand he slapped Gerald ,he landed on  the ground next to Richard who was released from the spell.

I have the antidote!Gerald said to Richard,surprised he was still with the syringe

. At the word antidote, the beast became real angry,Richard stared at it and back at Richard before saying

"You put me in this mess, the best you can do is get me out of it" with that he forced the plugger and the needle pierced into Gerald's neck,the with all his strength he shield his body with Gerald's body and the beast chewed a good chunk of meat but not for long cause he started shrinking ,until he became green substance on the floor.

Richard stared disgustingly at the half body of Gerald,he had to leave the country,just then the door opened and the SARS matched in

Richard gave up,he had to face the embassy and he knew his punishment already,he was going to rot in  prison.

A year later....

Chioma is tidying up the kitchen,two hands sneaks around her waist,she didn't have to look up,she knew it was David

How is  the mother of my triplets doing?he asked placing a kiss on her neck she turns and smiled....."i seem to gain weight!

No,you are just perfect!he replied carrying her to settle on the counter,he hadn't expected  that his wife would just go into labour once in her lifetime,so now ,it was protection from now on ,the most surprising thing was having two sons and a daughter,he didn't expect two sons, all his generation,its has always been one boy in the midst of girls,so he was surprise when the doctor announced the gender of his children.

I love you Chioma,and I'm sure you know that if you need more than a parlour marriage I'll not hesitate.

Chioma smiled,"Dave don't think much,I prefer a parlour wedding to a fake court marriage anytime any day.

With such assurance,David kissed his wife, she was his no matter how fake that document was,and even though he blamed his mother ,he choosed to forgive her.
