The Missionary's Journey

Gabriel Onyinmadu's life changed when his father, a pastor, was transferred by the church in the city to a small village in Abia State. Unknown to him and his family, there was more to the village than what appeared on the surface. One day he met a girl called Ifeyinwa who saved him from an unfortunate incident. She became his one and only friend in the village, creating a strong bond with her . Ifeyinwa had a terrible secret, she belonged to a community of witches and was sent to spy on Gabriel and his family as the pastor was a threat to their authority in the village. She unexpectedly became attached to him unable to carry out the mission she was sent to do.
The witch community threatened his father and tried to kill him when they realized they were losing their power over the villagers but they were utterly defeated. When they saw the pastor could not be harmed, they tried to get to the preacher through Gabriel and his sister. Ifeyinwa became Gabriel's guardian angel, saving him from their wicked ploys and eventually renounced the witch community. Anita wasn't so lucky as she was eventually captured. The High Priest of the witches finally faced off against the preacher in a final showdown. Gabriel and Ifeyinwa tried to save Anita and the High Priest was ultimately defeated, ending the reign of the witches in the village. The preacher and his family were recalled back to the city believing they had completely rid the villagers of the evil that terrorized them for years. They thought wrong.
