      " He sweet home"Emma said looking around like she has been gone for ten years

  " Is just two days oh"Mitchell replied

"Well,I know but it seems like ages to me"Emma replied sitting down

   Mitchell,Emma called

 Yes! Mitchell replied pinging on her phone

  "Is there still garri"Emma asked

  Yes,do you want to make it I can help you with that,Mitchell replied standing up

  Noo,I want to drink it Emma replied

  Mtweee,Mitchell hiss I pray you don't have kwashiorkor, Mitchell replied sitting down

 "Whatever madam"Emma replied standing up and walked to the kitchen

 

    "Mitchell when is your wedding coming up"jason asked 

 This month,Mitchell replied 

 "Wow and you didn't bother telling me"Jason asked

  "Am sorry,it didn't just cross my mind"Mitchell replied soberly

  What are you guys talking about,Emma asked with mouth full of garri

  Mitchell only shook her head

 What?Emma asked

 Nothing,I just pray you don't have kwashiorkor,Mitchell replied

 Emma only rolled her eyes at her

 " I was only asking her her wedding date"Jason answered the forgotten question

  That's right,when are we shopping for your asoebi's,Emma asked

 " Tomorrow" Mitchell replied

 Emma scoffed

 "You're not serious"Emma replied paying attention to her garri

  So if I did not ask, you will just wake me tommorow and tell me we are shopping abi,even God know say I for nor go,Emma replied

 Ok am sorry,mitchell apologize 

  I don hear,Emma replied and they all burst into laughter

  Justice are you not going to eat?Emma asked

Nope, justice replied

 Nonsense, Emma said loudly walking to him

 Oya open your mouth,Emma commanded

  Emma stop am not a baby, justice pleaded

  Mitchell and Jason watch the drama as they laugh at justice

  How was it,sweet right?Emma asked justice after feeding him

  And they all burst into laughter

 Is not funny, justice retorted

   And they laugh hard this time

    Sorry man,Jason apologized trying to stop himself from laughing 

 

  And kelvin? Emma asked

"Well he has being sentenced twenty five years imprisonment with hard labour,Jason explained

  Wow! I pity him though,Emma said soberly

  

 

Let's not spoil the mood,Mitchell replied

 

 Jason's pov

  I felt awkward while sitting down,I had something very important to tell Emma,but I was too shy to start a conversation,I decided to summon courage

 Let's not spoil the fun, Mitchell replied

  Emma,I called

  Yes! She replied looking at me

  Can we go on a date tomorrow evening,Jason asked

  Huh,em..sure..ye. she replied stuttering

  Thanks dearie,I replied smiling,I will text you the address,I continued

  Alright then,Emma replied

 We talked and while away with our time,but to be sincere my mind isn't but about my date

 

 

 Emma's pov

 

 Wake up, sleepy head,Mitchell said opening my window

 Is morning already,I asked

Nooo,we are about to sleep nonsense stand up and get dress we are going for shopping and for your date tonight,she replied walking away ten minutes oo ,she screamed 

       

 I felt butterfly playing in my stomach,when I remembered my date with Jason

  I quickly rush to the bathroom and had my bath,then I slip into a pair of trousers and wore a white top 

 I thought you are dead oo,Mitchell said immediately I came downstairs

  God forbid,I retorted

    Let's go,mitchell said walking away

   Mitchell did the shopping,I just followed her like a servant 

  Now let's shop for your date tonight,she said pulling out different gowns and I went inside to try them on,but she kept muttering no no no

 I was getting tired already

  Wow,you look stunning in this red gown

 Finally,I muttered

  Let's go,I said packing all the stuff 

 

  I slumped into the couch,immediately we got home

  What are you doing,Mitchell asked bringing out the stuffs

  Resting of course,I replied rolling my eyes at her

  Is almost 4 o'clock and you are not even close to getting dress for your date,she replied

  Shuuuuh,go and bath I will meet you upstairs for your make up,she continued pushinpme away

  Take it easy jare,I replied rolling my eyes at her

 

  Wow,you look dashing,Mitchell replied clapping her hands gleefully

  Why won't I look dashing after spending three hours in one face,Emma said sacarsticaly

 I want you to look beautiful for him you know,she said winking at me

  I am happy,but I just feel nervous and...

  You are good,Mitchell replied 

  

 Ding ding

The door bell rang

  That must be him,I said smiling

  Yes! Go to him hurry,Mitchell said dragging me downstairs

  I walked to the door,heave a sigh then I opened

 There he was looking like a twenty-six old man,his blue eyes face I got lost in his world

 

Wow, you look stunning,jason said breaking the silence

  Thanks,I replied shyly

 So shall we,Jason asked stretching his hand

  Yes my Lord,I replied

  

Where are we going to,I asked 

   Is a suprise,he replied

 At least just a hint,she begged

 It won't be a surprise anymore if I tell you,he replied just be patient he said winking at  her

  Ok,she replied looking sideway

 

  And here we are,Jason said helping her with door

 Woww!Emma screamed delighted

  You like? Jason asked smiling 

 Huh,I love it Jason,she replied looking around with admiration

 

 Let's go in

 Jason took Emma's hand and they went inside,there are tiny bulbs with a table and two chair decorated with red and a red rose on the table,like he knew she was going to wear red

  He helped me with my chair and I sat comfortably looking around

  Then my eyes fell on the table,different food including garri

   I realized you love garri,so I added it,he said as if reading my mind

   So eat anything you want,Jason said happily

  Nigeria jollof we do,I replied trying to act like a gentle girl,am going to eat that garri,wheth wh the devil likes it or not

 

  We ate in silence

 

 Emma,he called

 Yes? I replied looking at him

   I know have really hurt you,and I made a big mistake by leaving you,am really sorry and am serious this time when I say am deeply in love with you,and am not myself without seeing you,this love is different from the past,I became a miserable man when you left,then I realized you were the source of my joy,I can't live without you,yout are everything I want in a woman and believe me when I say you are perfect,what am trying to say is will you marry him?he asked kneeling down with one knee

  

I felt hot tears in my eyes,I can't believe this is happening

  Yes yes I will marry you,I replied and he hugged me tightly 

  Thank you,he replied still holding me tight

  Then he let go of me and kissed me in my lips,this time it felt right and good

 

 I think I need to drink my garri,I replied sitting down

   And am going to feed you,Jason replied making the garri

  I looked at him closely,he is happy it's all written all over his face,I smiled when it dawed on me that am the reason for his happinees,This is a new Jason,I muttered

  

 

Open your mouth,Jason said holding a spoonful of garri

  I opened my mouth and he fed me smiling all the time

 I wish it never ends,I Said to myself
