Epilogue

"I love you too" she said with tears streaming down her cheeks, as he gaze adoringly at her. She thought this day will never happen, has she remembers how she almost died from the stab wound, thankfully it did not do much damage and it was until she was certified OK by the doctors that Richard could stop worrying about her health.
Femi and gbemisola faced the full wrath of the law, and they were sentenced to twenty years imprisonment respectively.
Their wedding was a private affair, as Richard insisted on not wanting to stress her, The couple left the reception for their honeymoon getaway in one of the resorts in south africa.
Richard carried her across the threshold of their chalet.
"Am so happy you are mine, and i promise to protect you always" he whispered as he draws her into a his arms.
"Am the luckiest girl in the whole world, and i know you will always protect me " she whispered back as she kissed him, he carried her to their bedroom, she vaguely remembered being covered in soft glow of a lot of candles and petals of roses everywhere.
The world disappeared for them, in their first beautiful moment as man and wife.
