James said nothing to Bola,he told Sarah to get dressed and took her home. Bola wondered why James didn't react to what he saw.
He took Sarah to her room and told her he needed to go somewhere. Two hours later,he returned with two policemen,he went to Ola's hostel and arrested him and Bola for rape.
Bola was surprised,how did James get to know about their plan?
James said one of his friends had seen them at the party. He saw them drugging her and taking her into the room but couldn't do anything about it alone. He rushed to the boys hostel to inform James,since he knew Sarah and James were seeing each other,but it was very late already,the hostel gate was locked so he couldn't reach James that night. Bola pleaded but James was just too angry,he turned deaf ears to her.
“Oga,should we take them away?" One of the policemen said.
“Yes,please take this animals away" James said angrily.
Some students were outside seeing the whole incident. One of Sarah's course mates had gone to inform her about what was happening. She quickly rushed to the scene and begged James to let Bola go,she didn't want James to punished her for her wrong.
“Please let God be the judge." Sarah said in tears.
James told the policemen to let Bola and her brother go.
The news spread round the school. People saw her as an evil friend.
One of the students even insulted her,she told Bola she wanted what wasn't hers

. Bola could no longer stay in school because of the shame,so she left. Sarah tried reaching her but could not get to her.
A year later,in the year 1995, Sarah graduated from the nursing school with Distinction and was offered a job at the state hospital. James also graduated with Distinction and was offered a job in an international pharmacy.
A year after their graduation, James took Sarah back to the beach.
“Sarah,this is where I first told you about how I feel for you. I still remember the hot slap that landed on my face that day." James laughed and held Sarah hands. “Am glad we are here again together." He said staring into Sarah's eyes. He knelt down on one knee and brought out a very small box from his suit pocket,he opened it and brought out a silver ring.
“Sarah,please marry me." He said smiling.
Sarah was speechless for some few minutes and then said yes with tears rolling down her cheeks. James wore the ring on her finger and hugged her. He was so happy she agreed to marry him.
Sarah told Mrs Mercy about it, she was very happy for Sarah,she also told Maigret.
A year later she got married to James.
Sarah built a new house for her family,Mrs Mercy and renovated the village church. She also sent her brothers to school and got a job for Uyoyo as a messenger.
