Binded by friendship - Episode 5

Eve's POV
I thought after getting home from church I would rest only to have a busy afternoon full of meetings that left me feeling like someone has suctioned out all my energy.

All I wanted to do after a long warm shower is sleep.

I peeled off the dress I was wearing and tossed it aside on the floor. I turned on the water in the palatial glass enclosure and stepped into the shower.

Beneath the nearly scalding water, I leaned on the glass wall hoping to feel better.

After a long refreshing shower, I wrapped myself in a giant fluffy robe that swallowed my small frame and walked out of the bathroom.

"Hello love!!!"

I felt excited flicker through me as I jogged towards him.
I never understand the effect he has on me. He barely has to touch me to send me ablaze.

I paused Infront of him and silently stared into my favorite pair of eyes. 
"What????" Nick looked down shyly.

"I missed you..." I wrapped my arms around his neck and captured his lips into a kiss. 

He lifted me off the ground and I wrapped my legs around his waist. 

After seeing him, my sanity is probably somewhere around the room because I wasn't functioning anymore.

I had not seen him for two months and now that he was here Infront of me I wanted to endeavor him. I could feel the hungry inner monster groaning violently to be fed.

Nick pinned me to the wall and began trailing kissed down my collarbone

. When I thought this was it,that he was finally quenching the thirst inside me he pulled back.

"Why do you look pale and tired????" He carefully examined my face.
"Seriously Nick!!!!"I raged.

"You should get some rest love..." 

"I am horny and needy right now...I don't need rest,I need my husband..." I yelled.

"I am flattered love but you need rest more than sex..."He carefully placed me on the floor.

"Jerk!!!!" 
" I love you too..." He leaned closer to kiss me but I looked away.
"Have some rest love..." He whispered into my ear sending shivers down my spine..

"Go away...." I pushed him aside and walked into the closet angry full of unfulfilled passions.

I was so frustrated that tears began dripping from my eyes. If he didn't want it then why did he lead me on...

I slipped into my red silky night dress and walked back to the room to sleep as told. Because that's what he thinks I need.

****ten minutes later****
Just great. I am so emotionally frustrated that I can't sleep and it's all Nick's fault.

"I thought you should have slept by now..." Nick retorted,savoring into the sheets.
"How can I sleep whereas am horny????" I rolled my eyes.

"Love???"He pulled me close to him and wrapped his arm on my waist,"Maria told me you haven't eaten and I always tell you there isn't goodies for you if you don't eat..." He buried his face in my neck heating me up.

Damn he smelt so good that I wanted to eat him up.
"So you are punishing me????"

"You know the rules Eve..." He said in a sharp edgy warning tone.
"Whatever!!!!" I fluttered my eyes close.

"So how was the music tour???I saw the stadium was packed in almost every country..."

"We will talk about my tour tomorrow. Right now I am horny,disappointed and frustrated..."

"You said you missed me..."He said in a low seductive voice rendering me breathless.
"So you know I missed you too...Nothing was the same without you. I love you so much Eve and I would never let anything happen to you.."

"I love you too Nick so much..." I turned to face him, my eyes teary.
"I would never let anything happen to you too Nick. You are my everything and the thought of ever losing you drive me crazy.You make me complete..." I kissed him softly on the lips.

"I don't deserve Eve." He intertwined our fingers and brought them to his lips and kissed them.
"You are mine Nicholas Kame. The only man I want to spend the rest of my life with..."

"Thank you Mrs Kame...And you are the only woman I want to spend my life with too..."

"So can I get the goodie now!!!!" I batted my eyelashes at him seductively.
"No!!!No goodie for you today..." He beamed.

"Jerk!!!" I cursed and turned the other side.
"I know you love me so much.." He chuckled.

***01:30am ****
I was trying to sleep but Nick's phone wouldn't stop ringing.
"Nicholas better pick that phone up or I will smash it on the wall!!!"

No response,only soft snores.
"Unbelievable!!!"

I shut my eyes again ready to sleep when it started ringing again.Whoever is calling, better have something important to say. It's one o'clock for crying out loud.

I walked to the other side of the bed and picked up the phone from the nightstand. It was an unknown caller.

Just when I want to answer it, it stops ringing.
"Great!!!Just great!!!"I cussed out lifting my hands up to the heavens in frustration.

I placed the phone back on the nightstand and went back to bed only for it to start ringing again.

"You are trying me stupid phone..." I got out of bed angrily and answered the damn call.
"Nicholas thanks God you finally answered,we need to talk..." A girl sobbed on the other side of the line.

I swallowed hard the tears threatening to fall and replied,"It's his wife...."

"Can you give him the phone Eve????" She ordered.
The bitch knows my name.

I chuckled not sure of what to say,that girl had some nerve.
"And you are????"

"Do you really want to know????"

I looked at Nick who was sleeping peacefully and sighed angrily. 

I wanted to warn at her to stay away from my husband but I couldn't. I felt like my self pride and respect was at stake. God knows I wanted to know who she was to my husband so bad but I was afraid I couldn't handle it. 

The weight on my chest grew heavier with every breath and my lip dumbled. Maybe it was better if she talked to him.

"Nick!!!!"I shook him vigorously staring hard and inquisitively at the screen of the phone Infront of me.

"What's wrong love???Why are you crying????" I hadn't realized tears were trickling down my cheeks.

"Someone wants to talk to you..." I gave him the phone.

"Hello!!!!"
Nick sat there frozen  with wide eyes after hearing her voice.
He didn't say a word but just stared at me as if he had seen a ghost.

"I will sleep in the guest room tonight..." 

I walked out of the door and he didn't stop me or say a word. 

I wish I hadn't answered that call because I am feeling like he tore my heart through my throat.

The girl had gotten into my head and left me with one question every woman asks herself...
Is he cheating on me????
