Ever thought of how life would be if we wrote our own future???? It would be a dream come true, perfection to be precise.

Dee thought so too but  thou she had the princess upbringing way of life, she wasn't happy.

The ten-year old always  fantasized how her future would be in her diary not keeping in mind its was not in her power. Its every girls dream to be  daddy's little princess but to her it was torture, misery, suffocation

. She preferred death to her father.

At 25 she thought she would have had a perfect guy, a stable relationship, one kid and all they would do is travel around the world. Woe unto her, that's not what destiny had in store.

Since her 25 years of existence all she had was an abusive drug addict for a boyfriend and nothing else to her name. No job, no nothing.
Calling her victim of fate is an understatement.

She lied there beside him not sure of whether to be happy or guilty. But one thing was for sure, she hadn't felt this happy for some years now.
It had been long since someone held her with tenderness. Last night had been the best day of her life.

Suddenly guilt creeped in while tears rolled down her cheeks. She was cheating on Travis,  he also cheated but this felt different. They were soon to get married.

She was the  one to sit down and get insulted at, the faithful one who would always wait for the drunkard boyfriend  to come home and care for him, the one to persevere beatings in the name of  her father's good relationship with Travis' dad.

Never had it crossed her mind, one day one time she would be the one on the other side of the field. What she did was wrong but she loved it anyway. It was their family's tradition for girls to break their virginity after marriage and Travis hated it. He couldn't keep it in his pants.

Too bad the cookie jar got opened,  not with him but Nelson.

Knees pulled to her chest, her forehead on her knees as she held tightly onto her legs she begun to cry. Wondering how she ended up like this.

"Stop crying Dee, am here for you,"Nelson her lover comforted her while he took her into his embrace awaken by her sobs. She cried more profusely holding him tightly.

"Dee, look at how that monster treats you.

. Your back is full of scars, I don't like it. Let's run away. Away from all this."Nelson suggested pulling her from his chest.
"Are you mad??? do you want to get us killed???" She asked wearing a worrying face, "My dad would kill us Nelson." she added.

"So you prefer this life of misery than to run away with me???? C'mon, I love you Dee, you are my queen." he confessed cupping her face.

Dee couldn't help but cry since she couldn't remember the last day she heard those words.
"Where would we stay??? I have no job or savings??? I depend on my dad," she confirmed throwing him a confused look.

Nelson smiled giving her an intense passionate kiss, she was always his all. Deep down he was happy that finally she said yes and gave herself to him the previous night. He  was her first and her his everything.

Dee gave in to the thought of running away with Nelson. She needed change, needed to live life and here was the key to all that.

They hurriedly packed her bags debating on whether to go to Belgium or Paris. Her 25 year old fantasy was going be a reality.

Nelson wanted to carry the blood stained bedsheet as it was his duty to clean it but Dee stop him,"Let's leave it here as proof that Travis lost. That I am no longer his puppet or slave. That its over." She thundered and to her surprise Nelson agreed.

There they were getting out  of the apartment when they bumped into Travis with his bodyguards. The beginning of the end.

Its going down team Dee. Travis doesn't joke??? Have your ever heard an abusive boyfriend???
