Bloody Fog - Episode 22
Under The Sky
Poor night runner, Dee gave him an elbow kick leaving him with no other choice but to let her go.
Hurriedly Dee reached for the switch turning the lights on only to see Nick seated on the bed groaning.
"I covered your mouth not to scream and here I am the one groaning. Irony right??? A hard kick you have there." cried Nick.
Dee walked to him and gave him a slap on the head letting out a silent scream.
"Oooh!!!!I forgot you can't talk." stated Nick rubbing where Dee had hit him.
"You scared me, I thought it was a thief or a rapist after me." typed Dee trembling that actual tears fell down her cheeks.
Nick took her in his arms after she showed him the text remembering her sad story," I will never let anything bad happen to you Dee. I will always protect you. I am sorry I scared you." assured Nick stroking her hair.
"But I have something I wanna show you," Nick told Dee excitedly as he silently pulled her out of the room.
Dee couldn't believe what she saw at the rooftop, tuffo-water resistant outdoor blanket, two bowls of noodles, a glass of red wine and two champagne glasses.
"I know you went to bed hungry after the flour attack so I made something for us to eat." explained Nick taking Dee's hand," As I said I will always be here for you."
"Dee, what's your perfect fantasy???" Nick asked when he noticed Dee's thoughts were lost under the sky.
"I want a loving husband and a sweet little kids so that we can travel around the world." She typed.
"I can give you the first and the third but not the second." Nick giggled and Dee gave him a weird look.
"Not because of what you think. But is because I am the no kids before marriage kind of person." Nick further explained his statement and Dee let out a sigh of relief.
"How was the indomie, I hope I am not a horrible cook???" Nick asked with his puppy eyes.
"Whatever your hands touch become magical.

. It was great. Even if it was coffee made of chilli pepper. It would still be great." Dee typed her eyes sparkling with happiness.
"Dee, I need to tell you something." Nick implored pushing the bowls and glasses aside and sat more closer to Dee.
Nick then took Dee hands into his, sighing a relief. He begun stammering looking away not sure how he would put his words forward.
Dee held his hands tighter and when Nick looked at her, she gave him a worrying look.
"Dee," he stammered,"I know you were hurt and still love Nelson but you should move on. Accept he is dead and go on with life. I know he wants you to be happy and living life as you should. The world is waiting for you to move on and people who love you want you to move on too. Life is beautiful. It's not bad to have memories but don't live in the past. I wanna have the old Dee back, the tonight kind of Dee" Nick jabbered looking into her eyes and Dee had cocked her head to the side and stared at him taken back by his words.
His arms gently but firmly wrapped around her, the side of her face rested on his chest," And I will be here to help you move on." Nick assured Dee.
Dee rose her face in the moment of weakness and wanted to kiss Nick but Nick looked away.
"I guess you should go back to bed now, it has been a busy night." Nick mumbled standing her up.
Dee spent all the night wondering why Nick avoids her kisses but she couldn't find an answer.
In the morning as 'the couple' approached the Kebatas mansion, Dee could feel fear running in her veins. If only the world could swallow her but on the other hand Nick didn't seem scared or bothered.
"Where did you take my daughter jerk???"
Those were the words Nick heard before blood begun oozing from his nose.
