Boss Lady - Episode 1

"The stylish parlour was wide awake at 6am,eight workers were present, 2 customers were being attended to. The stylish parlour is a saloon where one can get make up done,a new hair do,pedicure and manicure, gele ties,even tattoos, lashes and all and there are ten effective workers including a P. A,all controlled by the boss lady "Stephanie Jessy".  And she just walked in, looking angry,not like it was different from any other day ,she has always looked angry, it's a rare thing to see her smile.

"Good morning Madam!the eight workers chorused, she nods, looking straight at the door leading to her office, one would think she wouldn't notice a thing but she does and stops, she searches the faces of every person present and finds the missing worker. "Where is Juliet?"

 The hall became silent,happens that all of them are aware of the missing person ....Did she call in sick? Stephanie asked.  "Er...er...Yes she did!" Emilia the P.A replied in a shaky voice that made  the boss to turn and stare at her fully before asking again "Did Juliet call in sick?" "Yes madam!"                                                    "I'm giving her three days, if she can't recover then She'll be replaced.....and  Jude, why is the comb case up there?" I'll bring it down, ma'am!Jude replied.

She walked into her office, closely followed by Emilia,the face behind the success of "The stylish parlour" with her black pencil skirt white Jacket to compliment her pink  camisole, a black stiletto to match,and her hair up....

"How many customers are we to attend to today?she asks as she settles behind her laptop,a quick type and she's engrossed in it while Emilia read aloud..." A total of 53, 8 hairdo's, 5 gele's,12 make up 's,a meeting with  Abigail, your sister and the online chic,whose also having a tatoo,4 tattoos, 7 massages, 5 physical fitness, and one massage just cancelled making it a total of 52 customers...

"Why did she cancell?"

"Its a he, actually!" Emilia corrected

Then why?

Emergency, he promises a double pay for a single book tomorrow.

Stephanie heaved a sighed" I think you are good to go!

Thanks madam!the other replied and left the office, closing the door behind her, apart from being a P. A, she was the supervisor to the others.

As Emilia left, Stephanie went through the list again, a hundred customer's was her target for the year, but having half of the number told her she was growing,things were starting to look right for her saloon

. Abigail, her sister who had been very adamant to the plans of a saloon was now a big fan,they were the only children of two bull headed parents #Pastor and Mrs David Jesse#they had sold their inheritance and had built a church,brought up as a dedicated Christian, Stephanie had always thought she was meant for church, she did everything, just too right,the choir didn't sing well idmf she wasn't  the soloist, and the church looked dull, if she didn't dance. Then something had happened and the joyous Stephanie became a joykiller,she opted out from the choir, she became so gloomy,automatically becoming a pagan,claiming there were worst church goers than her.

Hi sis!

She looked up at her snr sis and feign a smile,one ymthat she wanted her to know was fake. "still up with this grumpy face!" Abigail acknowledged before sitting on the leopard skin sofa, Stephanie raised an eyebrow then ask..."how's pastor and Mrs David Jesse?"

"Our parents are fine! Abigail is the beloved daughter the one that didn't break away from the gospel, she even got married to a pastor, maintaining a christian life, the one that wasn't threatened..."How's business?

"last I recall,Abigail wasn't a fan of the saloon....."

Can't you forgive? Abigail asked in a sad voice, she regretted it,every word she had uttered out of her mouth to stop Stephanie from opening a saloon, it had been the worst argument ever.

"To forgive is to love you, dear senior sis,and I ditch love,some years back,especially when you and your parents rejected me for who I dreamt of being...so I lost love and also was forgiveness gone.....
