Chioma - Episode 31

At the sound of Davids voice Gerald's hand trembled, he adjusted his lenses, feeling cold all of a sudden, he couldn't believe history was about to repeat itself, after giving Richard assurance that David was just a mere, he had done a thorough research and found out some things 

......release my wife to me and let me go! Richard smiled wickedly at those words, even if he was shocked at Gerald's reaction the  pathetic human in front of them couldn't just go in peace, his wife was worth a trillion and he wouldn't freely let her go."And if I decide not to? Gerald held his hand but he swiped them away, where was the Gerald that boosted his EGO, why was he suddenly behaving like a weakling? he glared at his friend before saying in a deadly whisper "Stay -out-of-my -fight-moron!"

Richard, if you don't release my wife, I would release that creature on you! Richard laughed so loud then quieten immediately  .." So sorry, but I'll pass! he ignored David as he picked up the container of the creature and continued checking the trolley which held all the tools he needed, David kept on staring at him as Richarde busied himself, Gerald tried to talk to him but it was fruitless, how was he to tell his friend that David 's ancestors and his living father were known all over the world as the only family that had a son in each generation and they always make this statement "Release my wife to me and let me go! It was really strange as how one family line had one phrase..... His Lenses dropped on the floor and shattered, Gerald looked at where the trash sound came from, there just beside him lay a scattered trolley, David was holding Richard by the collar, and punching him,Richard was helpness clinging to the strong hairy hand that held him to the wall, For a moment Gerald was tempted to walk out of the room in silence but yet he  waited that wasn't what friends are for!he thought picking up a  discarded drip pipe,he lunge for Davids throat and got him

Sonofab*tch,I -I wanted you to escape but you are really a moro..arghhhhh.David screamed feeling the sting from the tight hold .

Grab the sedatives! Gerald whispered to Richard who just got back his strength, that seem the best idea until David flipped Gerald, with a right hand he pinned Gerald's body to the ground, and tugged Richards leg with the left, the beast snarled at him, obviously angry but David didn't mind, he was so going to make this two suffer for their actions.

Doctors my foot! he murmured as he gave  Richard's ankle, a twist, the sound from the pull, alone told the trio including the creature that the ankle was broken, David let him limp to a corner well he stood up, carrying Gerald along, he lifted him high, his next action would be to smash Gerald on the tiles which was bad news

Release  my wife to me and let me go! He said, daring Richard to say no

Wait.....please I would! Richard replied limping back towards the sleeping beauty, he untied the first straps holding her hands, Gerald was still amid air, ready to land in the land of the death

"Come on drop the poor Doc....

Release her! David growled, an echo was heard from the beast ,he turned to view it and that's when Richard got guts to pick up a wheel chair, his motive was to scatter Davids brain, it went closer, 2 inches left ,David turned to face him,with shock, he used Gerald as a shield,the other man grunted as pains washed over him he would have taken the way out ! he thought sliding under the table to watch the duel, Richard was looking frightened as David kept walking towards him, his broken leg hit the trolley and with his eyes on David 

Screw you! he shouted throwing the trolley at David,items fell of as the trolley kept flying, David dodged and it landed.

Everybody's eyes went wide, the roar was the most dreadful, teeth's were all David saw as Richards pet left his position in the container, all thanks to the trolley Richard threw.It definitely had no eyes but it could see, it was staring at Chioma s sleeping figure, and gave its loudest  roar, it was sure to be heard even outside the hospital.

Gerald looked at Richard "I thought you said it won't survive alone"

Richard looked devastated, maybe my observation wasn't complete or Nigeria favours it

Even the creator of the beast is confused how would Chioma be saved? would the four escape, or would the beast escape?
