Could it be your eyes?

He took a deep breath and analyzed the situation before him. Standing with guns pointed at thier heads, he looked at the two people he loved the most in the world. She was not left out cause on the Right , a gun was pointed at her and she was groaning and screaming, not because of the pains she was feeling but his pain. He closed,his eyes and groaned  life was gradually going out of him. He could fight but if he chose one he would loose the other.  Just  when  his world was crashing down and he was beginning to give up..  he looked at her and he caught in her eyes a flicker of hope. Then he realized he had strength to fight,Yes he would die trying .
what gave him the strength? could it be her eyes??
