SO DONT BE CONFUSED, WE STILL ON THE SAME PAGE, JUST INCLUDED A MISSING EPISODE AND I CORRECTED ERRORS. AGAIN MERRY CHRISTMAS

“He said, hopefully?”

“Yes Skybae, that what was what he said.” Reeva replied, she was sitting outside the mansion, talking with Skybae on the phone. Andy and the rest were inside; she could still hear the laughter from where she sat.

“Well, at least he was hopeful that a wedding would take place. “Skybae replied.

“That is not the point. The point is that, I think Maggie knows something that I don’t know, I could swear that she asked that question on purpose, to mock me or something.”

“I don’t think so. Plus, you will keep speculating if you don’t get to ask him directly if there is going to be a wedding or not.” Di replied.

“Maggie shouldn’t be here Skybae, I don’t trust that slut for anything but Michael seems to like her.”

“Who is Michael?”

“That’s Andy’ s father.”

“Oh.”

“Yea, I don’t just...ah! I hate her.”

“No one will blame you for hating her, she stole your boyfriend and you have to make sure that she doesn’t steal Andy too. Did he give you a reason for not telling you about her?”

“Not really, he just said that I should trust him and that there is no reason to be afraid.”

“So do you trust him?”

“I don’t know

. Now she is even coming to our party.”

“She will be coming to the engagement party?”

“Yea.”

“Wow! She’s got some balls.”

“I really hate her Skybae, I hate her so much.”

“Hi Reeva, I assume you are talking about me.” Maggie said from behind Reeva who turned around, still holding the phone to her ear.

“I will call you back Di.” She said before ending the call.

Maggie walked towards her, smiling mischievously.

“If I were you, I would hate me too.”

“What do you want Maggie?” She demanded.
“Nothing, just to say some things.”

“I am not interested.”

“Well, you don’t have a choice, so listen.” Maggie ordered angrily with a smile. “I am sorry about Tony, but the way he spoke about you made me see you as a desperate little girl, I mean, you lured him to your mother’s house? Come on, how desperate were you?”

“That’s none of your business.” Reeva replied and Maggie smiled.

“Well, it’s okay to be angry with me, I did sleep with your ex who is now my ex as well.” She waited as if expecting some kind of reaction from Reeva but she gave none. “Oh, I see, you have heard. Did he tell you or found out on social media?”

“I don’t need to answer you any damn thing, you deserve whatever happened to you, just stay away from Andy.”

Maggie chuckled. “ I already had Andy years back, he was really a good lover, now we are more like brothers and sisters so you can calm down.”

Reeva turned to start going towards the house but she stopped her.

“Don’t be fooled, Andy is not going to marry you.”

Reeva spun around and smiled , “I don’t expect anything worse from you.”
“I am serious, he is not going to settle down with you, whatever his reason is, you should ask him on time. “
“Why do you care?”

“Because, I wouldn’t want to you to waste away the years that you could have used in loving some other person.”

“Well, keep your concern to yourself, I don’t want it.”Reeva said finally before walking towards the house.

“You shouldn’t allow her to rattle you.” Ruthie said as she got in, that was when she realized that Ruthie had been watching her from afar.

“My ex dumped me because of her and now that she is close to Andy, I feel like I am in a competition with her.”

Ruthie smiled and too her hand into hers. “You see, when Andy was younger and they were together, I knew that she was only forcing herself on him, you could ask him if you want. She was his friend, they grew up together so it was quiet easy for her to be cheap. I have never seen Andy look at another woman, the way he looks at you. He loves you and that is all that matters,”

“But why didn’t he tell me that she was around?”

“Maybe he didn’t want you to start having any negative thoughts, he loves you very much.”

Reeva sighed and walked to a couch. “I know that he does, I just don’t understand why he is keeping so much from me.”

“He is keeping things from you?”

“Yes.”

“Things like his mother.” Reeva blurted and continued, “each time I ask him ,he always comes up with this excuse to change the question, I don’t know why he keeps doing that Ruthie.”

Ruthie smiled and walked towards the couch, she sat down beside her.

“You need to be patient with him, there are some things that men do not like talking about, no matter how much you force them. The only thing you can do is to wait till when they are willing to tell you, and you will be amazed as to how easy everything will become.”

“I wish I have that patience.”

“You will. Once you start living today.” Ruthie replied, standing up.

“You mean once we are married right?” Reeva corrected.

“Sure, yes.” Ruthie replied, “now, come, let me show you his room, where you will be spending the night.

“What were you doing Maggie?” Andy said on the phone, he was talking to Maggie on the phone shortly after he had seen her talking with Reeva outside, he was in his father’s office with Jackson and his father, the room was at the top of the house, so it was easy to see what was happening below, he had been sitting by the window side when he had seen their silhouettes in the moonlight. He knew for sure that Maggie was up to no good.

“Calm down Romeo, I was only trying to calm her down so that she wouldn’t think that I am here to sleep with you. I let her realize that I had my chances and I used it, so it’s her time now.”

“You are unbelievable.” Andy said before ending the call.

“Is everything okay?” Jackson asked as Andy came back to join them in their game of chess.

“Everything is fine.” Andy grumbled, the muscles of his face tightened.

“So I was thinking, because of the state of my health, why don’t we have the party here instead Andy?” Michael asked Andy who was surprised that his father would suggest that. A smile spread across his lips.

“That will be really nice dad, we haven’t actually thought about a venue.” Andy replied.

“The courtyard is perfect for it don’t you think so?” Michael continued.

“Yes dad, I will go talk to Reeva, she will be thrilled.”

“Mum, we haven’t actually talked about the venue; I was even surprised that he just shipped me off to Abuja without us having a prior plan.” Reeva and her mother were engaged in a video call.

“Well, its next week, you two need to decide where the party will hold.

. What about holding it here?”  Tracy asked.

Reeva thought for a while, “I think that is a perfect plan mom, it will save the cost of having to go rent a venue somewhere. But do you think we have enough space for that?”

“We can use the garden, we will decorate it with flowers and other ornamentals, you will love that, trust me.”

Reeva was already grinning stupidly. “I will tell Andy, he will be so excited and...” She stopped as the door opened and Andy stepped in.

“Oh, mum, its Andy.” Reeva replied and continued with her call while Andy joined her on the bed.

“Hi Mrs. Jones.”

“Hi dear.” Tracy replied. “So, my daughter is just telling me how you kidnapped her to your mansion.”

Andy chuckled, “you will agree with me that it is long overdue.”

“Yes, I agree.” Tracy replied.

“Mum, I will call you later; let me deliver the news to Andy.” Reeva said, blowing her mother a kiss before ending the call. She quickly turned to Andy with a wide grin on her lips. “I have a great news.”

Andy smiled back, “I do have one too.”

“Really, why don’t you go first.”

“No, you go first.”

“Okay, dad asked if we would like to use here for the venue.”

That instant, the light went out of Reeva’s eyes. “ For what venue?”

Andy scoffed, “for the engagement  party of course, what else? So I said I will bring it to your notice, I think it is a great idea, what do you think?”

She shrugged, “well, I guess.”

Andy was surprised, “you guessed? Baby are you okay?”

“Well no, my mum just asked if we would like to use her place.”

“Wow!” Andy said, surprised. “So how do we handle this? My father is not all that strong and I wouldn’t want him to be going up and down.”

Reeva frowned, “my mum is getting older and I wouldn’t want her to be strolling up and down too.”

“She won’t be lifting a finger you know, all she needs to do is to just be here.”
“It’s not like your father would be lifting a leg either.”  She sulked.

“Look, we need to find a way to solve this.”

“How about we toss a coin?” Reeva suggested but this only made Andy laugh so hard. “Are you kidding? We are not kids.”

‘Then let’s hold the party at my mums.”

“No way, I think I have a coin somewhere.” Andy said, digging a hand into his pocket and brought out a penny.

“Tails.”Reeva said.

“Okay.” Andy replied and tossed the coin upwards, their eyes trailed the coin as it went up and then landed on his awaiting palm. It was a head.

“I win.” Andy said and stood up, “I will tell Ruthie that we will be using here for the party.”

Reeva was quiet, instead, she sent him a deadly glare but he only blew her a kiss and shut the door after him.

“Stupid coin!” She said to herself before covering herself with the blanket.
