Ichabod - Episode 24

“Now Rashidat, quit messing around.” He ordered her and pushed her to a chair. All of a sudden, the electricity came on and Rashidat screamed as she saw his face.”

“Oh my God! Who are you?” She asked, her chest rising and falling. The fear was so paralyzing she could hardly stand up.

Odin smiled, “I think you meant what am I and if you think deep down, I am absolutely certain that you know who I am.” He said in a deep voice while smiling mischievously.

Rashidat watched him as he went through her stuff, she was beginning to remember that he had seen someone that….”Oh my God..Ichabod…”

Odin turned to her suddenly, his brows furrowed in a frown, “I think you are mistaken…”

“No no, you are the other one. You are the other side aren’t you.”

He grinned satisfactorily, “bullseye! You brilliant girl. No wonder  the old man came to you.”

The expression on Rashida's face went from that of terror to admiration

. “Oh my God! This is fascinating. I have never seen a double before…I have only seen a vampire in the movies but here you are…” She said, standing up and looking at him in awe…

Odin frowned as she was getting closer as if not a bit afraid of him…

“You are magnificent…” She said, holding her hand closer to touch his face but Odin caught her hand suddenly.

“Oh, don’t think I am a nice man like Ichabod, I am much worse, I can suck your blood right on this floor and let you die….” He threatened.

“No you wouldn’t. You need your first bite on the full moon. Without your first bite you can never take any other blood.” Rashidat said proudly, unafraid.

. “If you take my blood, then you risk losing the immortality you so crave…” She said looking at him eye to eye.

Odin knew he had been beaten at his own game but he grinned, “even so, that doesn’t mean I can’t do terrible things to you like this…” he said, digging his nails deep into her flesh and Rashidat cried out in pain.

“Now, I hope you will learn better than to underestimate me. I need an answer to a question right away.”

“Go to hell!” She shouted back at him, staring at her arm which was now oozing blood.

“Oh believe me I’m in hell. Living inside another body is hell for me and if you fail to answer me, you know what I can do to you?” He moved closer to her, sniffing body. “I will not hesitate to hypnotize you into telling me everything I need to know.”

Rashidat was quiet.

“Good girl, now, something happened. I changed from Ichabod to myself. Listen carefully, I have more power so I can come out anytime I want, so far that idiot doesn’t get his emotional balanced but ever since you gave him that monogen, I’ve been unable to come out and play anytime I want to.”

“Serves you right.” She stated intentionally but Odin ignored her.

“So he had to use me for a stupid costume party, the girl kissed me and I changed, almost immediately.”

“Oh my God!” Rashidat gasped, “did anyone see you?”

“Awww..how sweet, that you are so concerned for me.”

“Don’t flatter yourself.” She hissed, “I’m only concerned for Ichabod.”

“So tell me, why did I change?”

She shrugged. “The kiss had an effect on you I guess.”

“I do not want guesses I want the truth.”

“Well, I guess you are growing weaker…” She said gladly, infuriating Odin so much that he pushed one of the shelves and all her things came crashing down…

“Oh my God! Works of many years! Are you insane!” She cried, rushing to the broken bottles and the spilled content on the floor.

“I cannot be weak! I have to get rid of this stupid monogen!” He shouted, bringing out the bottle from his inner coat and lifting it up to drop it…

“Don’t!” The lady screamed, “if you drop it, you will make things worse for Ichabod. If  you take more control, he won’t be able to make the lady fall inlove with him which is indirectly you and if that happens, there won’t be the blood-spill for the full moon. You need him  to be with this lady!”

Ichabod grunted, knowing she was right. “Damn that bloody witch for turning me against myself!” He shouted. “I shall be back!” He said and disappeared in the blink of an eye….
