When she finally came around, everything seemed a bit hazy to her, the back of her head throbbed so hard and she felt weak to her knees.

She opened her eyes to a spinning room…she shut her eyes again and then opened them. Things have stopped spinning but she couldn’t recognize where she was. It was like an uncompleted building but with so many lights everywhere.

The ceiling was high and she seemed to be in the middle of a pentagon. She tried to look up but the light was blinding. Her hands were both tied up separately and so were her legs.

“Michael, are you crazy! What the hell are you doing?” She demanded, looking around but Micahel was not in sight. She was in a large room and the windows were not done yet. she could see the yellow moon outside.

“Michael!” she shouted but someone came out to her.  It was a man, she recognized him as one of Michael’s men.

“Please, let me go!” she pleaded.

“You need to keep quiet madam. All this is for your own good,” the man said.

“What the hell are you talking about? What is for my own good?” She asked.

“That lover of yours is going to meet his death  tonight,” said Michael but she couldn’t see him.

“Michael, please, you do not understand. You need to stop this madness.”

“You need to listen to me and keep shut!” Michael shouted back

. “ I have set everything in place to trap him, you are going to see with your eyes what exactly he is!”

“Where are you Michael, please come out!” she shouted but she only heard his laughter.

“I will only come out when he is around. Your Vampire lover, once I put a stake into his heart, you will realize that I have been watching out for you all along.”

She sighed. “Where is my daughter?”

“You mean our daughter?” He asked. “Trust me, she is somewhere close, sleeping peacefully. Now I need you to focus, for what you are about to see tonight. The time is 11:50, we have ten minutes more.”

“For what Michael? This is madness! You need to check into a psychiatrist hospital! You have gone mad!”

“Well, we will see about that tonight.”

Odin strolled into Harmony’s house whistling to himself but was surprised when everywhere was quiet.

“This seems so wrong,” he said to himself and instead walked to her room. When he spotted himself in a billion mirror---he laughed. He could see Ichabod instead.

“Hello pal, now where is she?” he asked, talking into the mirror that surrounded her room wall.

“I don’t know Odin. I think something has happened.” Ichabod replied.

“Hmm…I guess she got advise from the witch.” Odin growled and tried to sniff the air. That way he caught a familiar scent. “ Michael!” he growled. Then he spotted Harmony’s phone on the bed and picked it up. He went through her contact and dialed Michael’s number.

“Hey ugly face, haven’t your mama told you not to interfere when the grownups are in a fight? Where is she?”

“I will send the address now…” came Michael’s voice and a message came in.

“Hmm…” Odin grunted, and then changed into Ichabod. He brought out his car keys and dashed out of the house.

Michael sat in one of the rooms in the building. He had about four screens in front of him, one was showing the entrance of the building, another, the frontal area and the rest showed several angles in the room.

He was going to take down a monster tonight and he would show the whole world that these beasts do exist. He couldn’t imagine how it had found his way down to Nigeria. Once the world saw this, his public image would be boosted and he would become even more influential, recognized and richer than before. Moreso, he could take his child with him when he showed the Video in court. How Harmony had been sleeping with a monster. Her whole reputation would be ruined.

He looked at the ring on the table. Once the man appeared, he would attempt to save his beloved but he would find himself in a pentagon which he had drawn with chalk on the floor where Harmony was bound. This was meant to restrain his movement. He would never be able to come out of the Pentagon. Once he locked the beast down, he would be trapped in the Pentagon until sunlight would come up in the morning to burn him alive right in front of Harmony. Still, should that not work, he had a stake in place. Wood with a sharp and pointy edge which he would drive into his heart just like in the movies.

Quickly, he spoke into his walky-talky. “Luke, are you all in your places? Over?”

“The  men are on standby as well.”

“Roger that. It’s almost twelve, let’s wait for our guest to get this party started.”

Harmony was getting weaker by the second and she didn’t have much energy in her again to shout with.

Her eyes were beginning to close up and she struggled against it but she couldn’t help it.

All of a sudden she heard a loud noise…

“It’s 12 on the dot!” said Michael from somewhere but she wasn’t paying attention anymore.  Right now, she was slipping into a total blackness and she couldn’t fight it…

“It’s about time for some fun!” Odin shouted as he walked in. It was an uncompleted building so he didn’t need any invitation.

“Michael, where are you? Come out and play…” he shouted loud enough for anyone to hear but he heard nothing. Instead, he saw Harmony bound up and he laughed.

“This will even be easier than I thought,” he said, walking straight into the trap that Michael had drawn for him.

When he walked into the trap he felt something but he was too much concerned about Harmony whom he began to loosen…

The next thing he heard was someone clapping behind him.

“You must be dumber than I thought…” Said Michael, coming out with about ten men with guns and stakes in their hands.

Odin left Harmony and turned around. He wanted to move but realized he couldn’t.

“I guess you were too blinded by her condition you couldn’t see that you walked into a pentagon…” he said.

Odin looked around him and he realized he was right. Still, he laughed.

. “ You keep making me laugh Michael! Didn’t you have enough toys to play with while growing up?”

“ I was actually busy watching movies about killing assholes like you,” Michael replied,

“Then you must be dumber than I thought. Do you think this will keep me away? How little your thoughts are!” he spat.

“If not, then I dare you to come out of there…”Michael demanded.

Angrily, Odin looked up, found a wire out of the ones hanging in the ceiling but within the space of the Pentagon, he jumped up so high without leaving the confinement and pulled down the rope with his hand…when this happened…the whole building was plunged into an inky darkness and the next sound was the sound of guns….

When the alternate generator light came on again, Michael gasped as he saw half of his men had been electrocuted and were on the ground. Two of them fell across the line of the Pentagon and Odin was still in the Pentagon. Now holding two naked wires in his hands… Odin laughed.

“That was fun…” he said. “oops, I think I messed up the Pentagon didn’t I?” he asked and climbed on one of the men whose body was now within the lines of the Pentagon… as a kind of bridge.

When he finally got out, the rest of the men rushed at him and he positioned himself properly ready to strike, he punched once and he felt bones break under his knuckles. Scream of pain filled the air as he leaped forward. When he finally descended, the bodies of the men were on the floor along with their weapons but to his disappointment. Michael was not there.

“Oh Michael, I am tired of this cheap game, why don’t you come out and let me show you what a real monster is…” he said but screamed in pain when he felt something sharp slid into him….the agony sent pain into his knees and he felt  on the floor…that was when he realized that Michael had driven a stake into him from behind….

“How about that now?” Michael asked viciously, proud of his smartness. He knew he could never be a match for someone like that but he needed some pawns to get him distracted and those were his dead men. He watched as he writhed in pain on the floor.

He walked towards Harmony to wake her up…but he was surprised when she was making some moaning sounds.

He couldn’t believe his ears…how could she be moaning in her sleep? He quickly untied her and laid her on the floor…but it looked as if she was having some kind of strange sleep and her moaning increased noisily….

“Harmony, wake up…” he said tapping her but all of a sudden he felt himself being lifted off the ground and the next thing he knew was being thrown across the room with so much force he hit his head against the wall and he fell to the ground…

“Next time, make sure you target the heart very well,” Odin said to him, walking closer to him and lifting him off the floor and against the wall.

“This is for being a bad father…” he said, punching him across the cheek.

“Now this is for wasting my time…” he flung him across the room again and Michael collided into the set of screens he had carefully positioned…they all clattered to the wall.

Finally, Odin walked up to him. “This is for trying to kill me…” he said, holding Michael’s fingers and breaking it one after the other…as he was about to give him one final punch around the neck, he felt something came over him and his attention went to the yellow moon that he could see outside...fast turning into a full blue moon….Harmony’s moaning increased and he stood up…

“It is Time!”
