Incomplete - Episode 19

I shiver after hearing the story of how Nora killed an innocent girl just for the sake of business

“ I have to tread cautiously” I whisper to myself as we retire for the day

Chris promised never to let me down, the guy which wants a revenge on his sister is still determined to take Nora down

I gave Bea part of the gist not to make her jittery like me. I need her strong to run our company

“ yes our company” I smile at that, she promise to partner with me when all this is over. That is my driving force cus finally I am going to be a business lady

*** “Good morning Ma” I greet Ma Nora on entering the office.

. I wore a tight fitted gown to bring out my curves. I need to be on point.

She smile on seeing me “you look hot Miss Tristy”

I smile back, “thank you Mah”

“Now let’s go round; shall we”

“okay Ma”

she signal the guy standing beside her to lead the way. We file behind him discussing as she point at the rooms telling me their functions

Looking at the guy in front, he must be a good bouncer cus he has many muscles in display that can send me to my early grave

As we get closer to the dark room, my heart starts thumping hard

. I place my hand on my chest as if preventing it from bursting out

‘That’s the room; make sure you insist on entering the room; memorize the password”

“WTF, I forgot about the device hidden under my hair”

I just nod believing he is seeing me from the control room. I clear my throat to breathe because I feel choked up

“Any problem” Nora turn at my cracked voice

“Nothing at all” I smile and point at the room “ what did you say the name is again”

She give out a sly smile “ I call it dark room”

“why dark room”

We exchange an eye contact, she turn and gesture the guard to open the door

I draw close enough to memorize the password. He just push open the door and an alarm ring on Ma Nora phone indicating the open door. The guard step aside to reveal the second door and press something on a small mirror like space on the door

She press and I memorize, on the last key she use her body to cover it, I couldn’t get what she press and the door click open

We step inside and the door click shut

“Welcome to my trophy” she announce with pride “ I have many things in here” she continue “ you are allowed to ask questions but don’t play with anything inside here”

I nod still not able to utter a word

“ you can excuse us now” she say to the guard. She wait a while for him to move, she draw me close and whisper “ I never allow anybody in here but I am giving you the privilege; I take you as a daughter I never had”

I swallow hard at that

“Come” she say and drag me to one of the shelf “ this is where I keep everything about the girls and there; pointing at the other large shelf, is about my main business”

She pause “ have you talked with him about that”

I nod

“ okay that’s good; I never want to lose that client, he is very important to me”

She turn to sit at the only chair in the small room in front of a large system (desktop), “ you can look around for five seconds and let’s get back to business”

“ huh” I release the breathe I never knew I was holding, being this close to her made me feel tense all through

Now away from her, I scan the entire room “ it is actually a dark room holding many secrets of Nora empire”

“ check the girls shelf” he order from the hidden device. I walk like a programmed carton to the shelf and see many CD’s neatly stacked. I couldn’t make out the packing arrangement but I dare not move an inch closer

I shudder as she touch me from behind. I turn and smile assuring her that I am fine

“Compliment her” I nod at the command from the device

I smile “wow, Ma Nora you really have a good establishment and I promise never to regret working with you” I say and give her a slight hug.

 I walk out immediately without backward glance

****** “Leave this room easy to open, she might come back tonight; I see it in her eyes”  Nora whisper to her guard as they walk to her car

Immediately inside the car, I disconnect the Bluetooth device and put a conference call across to Bea, Chris, and the other guy

Bea was the first pick “Hey girl, anything new” I sigh before speaking “ the dam woman have a signal on her phone that indicates whenever the door is opened”

“and the password did you get it” Chris ask impatiently

“Yes but not the last digit”

“what do you mean” the other guy chip in

“well, call the ones you get I can decode them” he continue before I can say anything

I bring out the paper I wrote it down to avoid forgetting it

“call the dam no” he demands

“hey cool down man, she will definitely call them” Chris intervene

I heave before calling them “ 0605199” I call out

“its remaining one” I say

“wait” Bea exclaim “ call the no again”

I repeat them

“That’s my birth date”

“Serious” we ask same time

“yes” she answer

Then what is the last number” Chris ask

“4”

“Okay, copy that”

“Tristy get ready to go there tonight, we need to attach the drive there; copy the files and damage all information there” he say and disconnect the call

I sigh and bade Chris and Bea before disconnecting the call

“This is eating more than I bargained”
