Kenny's Story - Episode 7

TWO WEEKS LATER
Admist all the chattering and talking, Kenny stared at the designed picture of her and David in their wedding reception hall. She was getting married to the best husband on planet earth. She didn’t think she deserved him, in her opinion David was too good for her. But somehow, God had given her the precious gift. He was charming, loving caring, sacrificial and most of all the man was in love with God. In the past six months of their courtship David had helped her a lot. Both in spiritual growth, her music, her school name it. God’s love for her was really unending. She knew now that indeed, there was a purpose for her life. She was God’s instrument for bringing His people into fellowship with him through music. Her vocals had gotten so much better and just two weeks ago she had released her second album, which has been bringing testimonies from both in and out of the country. She was indeed blessed. 
She looked at Mr Babalakin as he sat there in the front row smiling. Yeah, she had forgiven him. Pastor Ken had spoken to him and said he could relate with how the man felt. Pastor Ken himself shared a part of his past with Kenny. How he was a drunkard, a cheat and a robber before he got saved. He lived doing the 419 business and embarking on house robbery with his gang, every now and then

. God is amazing. Pastor Ken actually got saved in a house him and his gang went to rob. No one told them it was the house of a man of God, as soon as they got there, Ken particularly felt very physically weak, he tried his best to act cool and as though he was fine, since he was the gang leader, but when the man started prophesying about Ken’s future, about how God had great plans for his life and how he was going to bring many into the kingdom of God, he fell to the ground and begged for mercy. At that point the other two guys ran away, while Ken got converted. This was before he started the ministry and got married to his beautiful wife Gloria. 
Mr Bbabalakin had gotten saved in a bus on his way to his village shrine to get powers, a woman in the bus was preaching and spoke to him how God was giving him a warning to either get saved now or face the consequences which was death, he began to cough strangely, fell to the floor and asked for mercy. He was saved now but was sick. Kenny had prayed for him anyways. She didn’t want him to die just yet. No matter how she denied him, she was the only family she had from the past, even though now God had given her a new family.

. The Osas’, David’s family had been there for her as a family even before she got engaged to David. Pastor Ken and Pastor Gloria had already taken her in as their daughter, little did they know that God was bringing her in as one of them. Kenny had changed name three times in a year, from Babalakin, to Adeogun and now to Osas. All Kenny knew now was that, indeed God’s grace was sufficient, she was a living testimony. Indeed God’s amazing grace had saved someone like her.
Apostle Paul speaks about God's grace also in the scriptures,  one of them  
-And God said unto me,
 My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.(2 Corinthians 12:9 KJV)
Each time he said, “My grace is all you need. My power works best in weakness.” So now I am glad to boast about my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ can work through me.(2 Corinthians 12:9 NLT)

Dear reader, God’s grace is sufficient. What is that situation that has held you down for a long time? that has made you cry in the secret?, I tell you God never fails, neither does He lie, His grace will be sufficient and deliver you today!  All you have to do is believe in Jesus, that He is the only way to salvation, nothing else can save you nothing else can satisfy you, but only Jesus, just hold on to Him, your testimony is coming.
