Love Does Not Cost A Thing - Episode 6

This  is for my mom, dad, boyfriend and siblings for their everyday support.  This chapter would decide the fate of jechonias and mariam. 

   him.    I woke up very early the next day, as I was very eager to see jay so that we could come see my mum when my dad is not around. 
    'Hello baby', were his words when he wrapped his arms around my waist as I skilled like a two years old girl who misses her dad. I smilled in return and turned around to kiss him. His lips felt good against mine pulling my body closer to him. 
    When we reached home, mum was the only one at home,,jay was putting on kaftan and cap, I hugged my mom and she did hug me back in return, after that my mom asked jay what his name was, and he told her his name was jechonias aliyu kolo. She was suprised and angry at the same time but jay didn't recognize her anger, only I did because I am her daughter, after he had lunch with us, he decided to leave for his own house, we didn't say anything on his to the bus park to catch a ride. 
   On my way home, I saw ya Abdul who offered to give me a ride  home, his words were 'mariam dan Allah ki bani chance in so ki mana" please give me a chance to show you how much I love you. I said nothing in reply I rushed to my mum to ask her about her first impression about jay, she said,  'mariam, the young guy is good looking, but you can't marry him because his a Christian and our religion forbids us from marrying from any other language, so yarinya na ki bari magana soyaya da shi and focus on Abdul that wants to marry you ' while she was saying all of these my eyes were filled with tears already how could my own mother do this to me denying me of marrying the man whom I truly love.  'Haba, mama I love this guy, and when am married to him he will never force me ti change my religion

. The problem is not our religion but you wanting me to marry ya abdul and I'll never marry him. As I storm out of the room I saw ya Abdul sitting outside am sure he must have heard every conversation that took place between my mum and I.  
       I ignored him as I walked past him into my room, I saw a text  from jay saying ' thank you, my dearest I love you 'the words melted my heart and I cried more. I didn't go down for dinner that night, untill when my dad came back and he called me saying ya Abdul and my mum told him about jay, I was shocked cause I never expected my mum to do such thing to me, my father was filled with anger as he told me that he'll never allow me to any other man apart from ya Abdul, all I could do was crying. 
  since that day,  my father didn't allow me to go to anywhere, he collected my phone making sure I had no way of communicating with Jay.  It was weekend, I lied to my mum that my friend was getting married and I have to sleepover in her house so I will not miss any event which she aggred to. Immediately I rushed down to jay's house as he lives alone, he was so happy to see me, we hugged and kissed like we've been apart for years. He led me into his room, his was exactly how I pictured it to be, I told him about how my parents said that I'll never get to marry him. I spent my whole weekend with Jay in his house, when its time for prayers I offered my prayers without missing any of it. 
     life hasn't been the same for me again, ya Abdul now understands that I can't love him but he's asked me to Atleast  allow  him to love me which I accepted cause I know one day hell get tired of loving me. 
      Its exactly two months, since ya Abdul has decided to ask for my hand in marriage, and I've been spending most of my free time with jay. 
On Saturday night, my father told me that in the next two months I'll be getting married to ya Abdul. My heart ached all night and I had to get to jay immediately to find a way out so that I'll not marry ya abdul. 

   What solution will mariam and jay find to stop Mariam's forceful marriage with ya Abdul?
