Love ~ Hate Relationship - Episode 8

She's been avoiding me.

She's been hiding out in her room and three days is all I can give her.

I'm almost running mad with worry that she might be hurt or even now against us being together.

It's twelve in the morning and I find myself at her door.

I don't bother knocking because I know she would be sleeping.

I step into the room and she's indeed sleeping, her hand curled around a pillow.

I bend down in front of her, my hands stroking her hair off her face..

"Hey" I whisper when I see that her eyes are open and clear.

"You weren't sleeping" I say.

"I heard you outside, I thought if I pretended to be sleeping you will go away" She says candidly and I smile..

"What happened, you've been scarce" I say.

"My father will kill us if he finds out we've been dating Stellan, he will..." I shut her with a hand to her lip.

"Do you trust me?"

"What?"

"Do you trust me?" I ask again.

"Yes" She says this time and there's no hesitation.

"Then trust me to take care of us okay? There's no need for you to be scared, there's no need for you to hide, I see you and I know you so trust me" I say and she looks into my eyes before nodding slowly.

"Scoot over, I wanna hold you" I say.

"What if..." She begins and I stand up, crossing the room to lock the door and bolt it before walking back to her.

"No one is going to come in here, I will be gone before dawn, yeah?" I say and she nods, holding her pillow close and watching me as I enter the bed.

She's still and I know she's probably scared so I don't initiate any form contact, later she relaxes and it's only then I pull her into my arms.

I make a vow as she sleeps.

I'm going to protect her no matter what.

"It's raining really bad, do you think we will be able to make it to the house before my father returns?" She asks from the stack of hay she's seating on inside the barn.

"I'm sure princess, the house isn't that far, I don't want you in the rain because the ground gets slippery" I say and she nods before shivering.

"Cold?" I ask and she nods.

I sit beside her and she cuddles close.

We had been feeding the horses in the barn when the rain started.

We've had to sneak out out of the house separately to be together, it's been a week since we spent the night together and I've tried to make sure it doesn't become an habit, me sneaking into her bed. 

I curl a hand around her shoulder, my mind wandering, wondering if things is going turn out okay in the end. 

I have to tell her father about us, get his blessing, make sure he knows that I love her. 

"What are you thinking about so deeply?" She asks, her hand smoothing the frown from my face. 

I kiss her fingers before shaking my head. 

"Nothing" I say but freeze when her mouth touches mine softly. 

"What was that for?" I ask. 

"I felt it appropriate in the mood" She says and I smirk. 

"That's not a kiss baby, this is a kiss" I say before kissing her. 

Her hand clutches the front of my shirt and I hold the back of her neck as I hold her steady. 

She breaks the kiss and I lift my head. 

She smiles before kissing me again. I bite her lip and she giggles. 

"Will you teach me how to do that?" She asks. 

"Teach you what?" 

"The bitey thingy" She says and I laugh. 

"The bitey thingy" I say before nipping her cheek her eyes fall close. 

I kiss her again, lying her back on the hay and she goes, her hand pulling at my shirt. 

I lift my head. 

"Babe..." I begin. 

"Won't you teach everything?" She asks and God I want to, I want to teach her everything even in my limited experience. 

"I haven't really done anything.." I say and her eyes flies to mine. 

"Nothing...?"

"Nothing" I say and nods. 

"Well, that's dandy, we can teach each other then" She says and I laugh into her mouth as she brings me close again.

. Shit, fancy" I say before kissing her. 

Her legs wrap around my waist and her hands make light work of my shirt. 

"Baby, we don't have to do this" I say but she shakes her head, her mouth going to my neck, my eyes fall close. 

Sh*t. 

I unzip her gown and it's going over head, her hands burying in my hair as my mouth closes over the skin on her neck, her head falls back. 

I lift my head to take her in and my body tightens at the sight. 

She's a sight. 

"Are we going to..?" She breaths. 

"Definitely" I say before undoing the clasp of her bra. 

She's not shy as she waits for me to finish drinking her in and I know she's confident in her skin. 

My head bends and I kiss each of the wonderful globes before I can't help myself anymore. 

Later, much later when the rain subsides I help her back into her gown, carrying her in my arms and out of the barn entering the house through the kitchen. 

"You should let me down, my parents might be..." She begins. 

"It's okay baby, it's fine" I know her parents aren't back, seeing as there was no car in the garage. 

I carry her upstairs but stop when I see her mother at the landing. 

"What happened?" She asks her eyes taking us in. 

I feel Sybil tense as she pats my hand for me to let her down. 

"I was stuck in the barn mum, he brought me up" She says even as I open my mouth to tell her the truth. 

"Oh, thank you Stellan" She says, her cool eyes coming to me. 

"Why don't you go have a bath Sybil, you look like you've been rolling around in the hay all day" She says and Sybil nods, giving me a look before crossing into her room. 

"Stellan, I'm glad you brought my daughter back to me in one piece but I would appreciate if you refrain from being around her, since you know how her father feels about it" She says and I give a jerky nod. 

"Good, well, have a good evening" She says before going into her daughter's room. 

I wipe a hand down my face, a grin cracking my face as the activities of earlier bombard my brain. 

Worth it.
