Pierced Rose - Episode 66

Four hours ago
Brad felt broken... He was a vacant lifeless tube...
He was too stormy to either face Reginah or his family...
He felt betrayed....

He had regrets about what he did to Reginah as soon as he drove off but the anger lingered regardless..

The only place he could find comfort was in Isabelle arms...She was always there when he needed a shoulder to lean on...

He had slept at her place and there he felt peaceful.. Little did he know he had just led himself into a lioness den...

"Come on Brad, don't be hard on yourself...They lied to you but that doesn't mean you stop leaving..."Isabelle faked a sob, rubbing the sidelines of his head in circles, "I am here for you Brad...I would never betray you..."

"Why do you love me so much when you know how much I love Reginah???" Brad was curious..
"Because you can never control love..."

Brad took her hand and brought her infront of him, "I wanna go away for a while, will you come with me????"

"Brad but are you sure about this...What about Reginah and your family???" Isabelle pretended not to love the idea...

"You said you love me so let's go away from away...atleast until I get my head together..."
Brad insisted...

"Okay, I would prefer our beach house in Miami no one will find us there...I am so happy Brad that you chose me to help you through this..."
She couldn't hide her excitement...

"And thank you for being a good friend...So when can we travel???"
"I prefer tonight...I will make some calls.."
"You...are you not coming with me Isabelle???"
"I will follow you there after I am done with some pending issues...Some obstacles..." She smiled cupping his face, "Don't worry I got you...Go have a shower you look like a hot mess.."

Brad nodded and went to freshen up...
Unfortunately he left his phone behind...
Isabelle being a know it all, switched it on, drew the pattern and texted Reginah immediately ignoring the a million voice mails and messages...

"Reginah, get ready for my wrath..You won't know what's coming..." She thought out loud laughing evilly...

After ensuring Brad was tucked in bed, she grabbed her purse and got out of the house to fulfill the Reginah must go mission..

Reginah being a fool in love fell right in her trap....Everything seemed to be going according to plan until Jayson decided to stick his nose where it was not needed..

So here they were infront of Isabelle...

"Isabelle, how dare you do this???? Wait until Brad...."

"Did you say Brad???? Honey he is in my place sleeping..." Isabelle butted in..

"Stop lying...Tell your men to let me go and you will see what i can do..." Reginah tried to shake herself off their grips but all in vain..
"Sorry Honey..But Brad is mine..." Isabelle faked a smile cupping her face, "But thank you for taking care of him for me..."

Reginah's  jaws were tightened with her words.. She could feel tears burn behind her eyes...She was crush, broken..

. Here she was trying to look for someone who was comfortable in someone Elise's arms...

"Did you think I would let it slide, you were mistaken....Tie them up..."Isabelle ordered...

Reginah was forced to sit on the floor and and the unconcious Jayson beside him...Their hands were tied together while Jayson lied on her back....The weight was unbearable but she had no choice...

Their feet were also tied but separately....

"Let me get back to my man, I will see you tomorrow honey..." Isabelle pecked Reginah on the cheek and left laughing....

After tirelessly looking for Brad with no results at all, everyone decided to go back to Reginah's house.... 

No one was worried about them until after it was dark...

"Guys where is Jayson and Reginah???? I can't reach them...." Carlos seemed worried..
"Don't worry, they will be here soon. I bet Reginah insisted to keep on searching..." Mike retorted..

"Yeah, that makes sense..." Carlos agreed and they all seconded him..
"But I don't know why, I have a bad feeling...." Diana said rubbing her chest, "Why are they not picking up???"

"Don't worry mum, maybe their batteries died...They are okay..." Carlos tried soothing her but it didn't seem to work...

Isabelle on the other hand tried to make calls to arrange on Brad's trip but all in vain...Her father wasn't ready to lend her their private chopper... So the trip had to be postponed...

It was already midnight and everyone in Reginah's apartment was worried...There was no sight of them...They were agitated but there wasn't much they could do....

"Guys, where could they be??? I am beginning to get worried...." Mike stated...
"Me too, let's inform the police.."
"Don't be a fool Ben, you only report a missing person after 48hours..." Maggie said biting her nails...
"But we can't just stay here, we need to look for them...." Carlos suggested...

"But where do we begin baby??? Maybe they found Brad and he got mad seeing Jayson and Reginah together and so he killed them..." Mary  said boldly...

"Bad joke baby..Bad joke..." Carlos rolled his eyes on her while the other shook their heads...
"I am sorry guys..." Mary lifted her hands up in defence....

"Maybe we should ask Patience and try calling Brad again..They might know something..." Carlos suggested and with no hesitation Maggie called Patience who had no idea about anything whereas Brad's phone as usual was off....

"I think we should all go home get some rest then if they don't show up tomorrow we will look for them...But let's hope they are safe, let me go check in mom I know she is worried sick..." Carlos bossed and headed to Diana room who was crying her worrying heart out....

She couldn't even internalise the thought of her daughter missing....
