SECOND CHANCE OF AN ANGEL ( BOOK 3) - Episode 7

Michael was seated in the dinning table with the rest of the family,

he expected Jessie to be downstairs but she was not

He just wonder if she is alright, he really wanted to go check on her but he does not want the repeat of what happened in her room before

He sigh softly as he watched Elena and Ariel set the dinning table,

He kept glancing at the stairs expecting Jessie to show up but to his disappointment she did not

I will go call Jessie to join us for breakfast, he heard Elena say, he really wanted to go call her but he kept his mouth shut as he watched Elena climb the stairs and made her way to Jessie's room.

Jessie lay on her bed looking at the ceiling, her mind was constantly drifting to her sister, she did not even have a good night rest

I don't even know if these Angel will keep to their promise in helping me find my sister, Jessie said to herself

The more time my sister spend in the demon zone, the more time she is in danger

Oh God please protect my sister, she is the only one I have left

She heard a knock on her door, she stood up from the bed to answer it

Good morning, Elena said

Jessie did not even answer her, she just waited for Elena to speak

Breakfast is ready, Elena said

Not hungry, Jessie muttered as she was about to close to door but Elena placed her hand on the door stopping it from closing

Are you alright? Elena asked

I'm fine, Jessie murmur while crossing her arms

Are you sure? Elena asked

Yes! Jessie yelled

Now can you just leave me alone, Jessie demanded as she slam her door shut

She sat on her bed as tears stream down her face,

she brought her knees up to her chest as she continue to sob quietely

She remember all the times she spent with her sister and it made tears run down her face

Please be strong for me, I will come get you soon, she whisper

What was that noise about? Raguel asked

It's Jessie, Elena answered with a sad expression

Immediately Michael heard Jessie's name he turned his full attention to Elena

What happened? Michael asked

She seems really upset, Elena said

Really? Michael asked

What is wrong with her? Michael asked

I don't know, she did not say, Elena added

Is she coming downstairs? Raguel asked

"No" Elena said

She said she is not hungry, Elena added

That's a lie, Michael said without thinking making the entire family turn their faces to look at him but he refuse to meet any of their eyes

I will go talk to her, Michael said as he stood up

Wait Michael, Raguel said

I don't think that is a good idea, Raguel said

But why? Michael asked

She is clearly upset about something its better we let be for now, Raguel said

But......

No, Raguel said

Fine, Michael said as he sat down

Let's eat, Elena said

Michael stared at the food on his plate

Michael, Raguel called

Michael raised his head to look at him

"Eat" Raguel said softly

She will be fine he added

Michael nodded his head as he picked up his spoon and dig into his plate

After breakfast Michael made his way to the living room, he sat down still worried about Jessie

What made her so upset? He asked to himself

I really need to find out, he said to himself

He wasted no time as he stood up from the couch and made his way upstairs and headed for Jessie's room

He knocked softly on the door and waited for response but he did not get any so he knocked again

Jessie, Michael called sofly

Please open the door, he added

Within seconds the door flung open

What! Jessie yelled crossing her arms

I just want to talk to you, Michael said

So you want to talk now, after avoiding me for two days Jessie said

I was not avoiding you, Michael said

I just have a lot on my mind that I needed to think through, Michael added

Whatever, Jessie said

I don't care, she added

Michael sigh softly

Can I come in? Michael asked

Jessie did not answer him she just left the door opened and went to sit on her bed

Michael took that as an invitation and entered the room, once he was inside, he shut the door behind him

Are you angry at me? Michael asked

Why would I? Jessie replied

I don't know, Michael said

You said I avoided you and I guess you are angry because of that, Michael said

I'm not angry because of you, Jessie said
Well some part of me is angry that you avioded me, she wanted to tell Michael but kept that part to herself

Then why are upset? Michael asked

I woke up at the wrong side of bed, Jessie said

Really? Michael asked

Jessie sigh softly

She was not able to keep a stern face for too long at Michael

Why does he have to be this handsome, Jessie said to herself

I was up all night thinking about my sister and you she said keeping the last part to herself

I understand that you miss your sister so much but you need to feed well to keep up your strength, Michael said

Punishing yourself will not slove anything, Michael added

I know, it's just that I really need my sister here with me, Jessie said

I don't even know if she is still alive, Jessie said as a tear slip down her face, she quickly wiped it off

She is still alive, Michael said just have faith, he added

I don't know if I'm strong enough to hold on Jessie whisper

Yes you are, Michael said , so strong, he added

Jessie just nodded her head unable to form a sentence

I'm sorry, Jessie said

You don't need to apologize for anything, Michael said

Jessie nodded her head and remain quiet

Are you hungry? Michael asked

"Very" hungry, Jessie said with a smile

Come on, let's go downstairs, Michael said as he turned to open the door

Wait! Jessie called

Yeah, Michael said as he turned to look at Jessie

Is Elena angry with me? She asked

No, Michael answered

I'm sure she understands, he added

Okay, let's go, Jessie said

Michael turned and lead the way out the room
Raguels eyes meet Michael immediately they came downstairs

Jessie left Michael side and went to the kitchen
Jessie meet Elena standing in the kitchen, she cleared her throat to get Elena's attention whose back was facing her

Hey, Elena said with a smile

Hi, Jessie replied

I'm really sorry for the way I yelled at you, Jessie said

It's okay, Elena said

No it's not, I should have never had raised my voice at you, Jessie said

Well it's fine, Elena said reassuring jessie

I'm just glad you are here now, Elena added with a smile which Jessie return

Do you want to eat now? Elena

Yes please, Jessie said with a smile

I wonder what you said to her? Raguel said looking at Michael who sat next to him

Nothing much, Michael said

That does not look like "nothing much" Raguel said gesturing towards Jessie
