Reunion and Payback
It was celebration galore in Amantu Village as everyone celebrated the return of the missing children in their own special ways. Many people kept on organising parties according to how much they had in their pockets.
The missing children –The Dare Devils - decided to meet at Sule’s hut to narrate their ordeals and how they escaped.
Sule served them hot soup and he joined them in the discussions. They discussed for a long time until Ifeanyi suggested that the kidnappers should be punished one way or the other.
They all went to the King’s palace the next day and told him of their plans. The king didn’t object their opinions and decided to send some guards with them to the kidnapers’ camp.
Over fifty royal guards followed the children to the pit were they were all caught and they then followed the pathway created by the kidnappers on their operation. The pathway led the guards straight to the kidnappers’ camp.
They all surrounded the camp and some of them went in to meet the head of the kidnappers as described by the children… He recognised the children immediately he spotted them.
He was tied down alongside his men and the other victims in the cells of these kidnappers were all rescued by the guards.
The guards didn’t come with enough lorries so they collected the keys to those of the kidnappers. The camp was ransacked thoroughly to ensure that none of the men escaped.
They all returned back to Amantu village with enough rescued kids who were victims of kidnap

. They were all been taken care of by the King’s maids and the arrangement of how they will be returned back to their respective homes was made.
The kidnappers were been flogged publicly in the market square and the villagers couldn’t control their anger as they threw enough things on them. They threw stones, tomatoes, fruits and other objects on them.
They were then taken to the prison and served the king in the farm with chains in their legs and padlocks in their lips.
The Dare Devils continued their hunting and peace returned back to Amantu Village.
