Set me free - Episode 59

William:

 I stare with wide eyes as Mr Gabriel pulls his hand up in my favour. Mrs William eyes look like they'll fall out of their sockets. I don't understand one bit of what's going on.
"In favour of the votes, Mrs William has been abdicated from the post as the president of the company on counts of fraud and embezzlement. And William is to take her place starting tomorrow." The moderator of the meeting announces. Mrs William flies out of her seat.
"What! You people can't throw me out like this. I own all these! I own all of you!" She sneer. A few people shift uncomfortably in their chairs.
"Everyone out. Except the woman and our new president." Mr Gabriel commands and in seconds everyone scrambles out the door, leaving just the three of us and Mr Gabriel's body guard.  I watch him roll his ring around like he did two nights ago.
"You! I gave you my precious millions!" Mrs William snaps at Mr Gabriel. He just smiles. 
"I think that's enough for covering your tracks for years." What is he talking about. 
"I don't know what you are talking about." She snaps but she looks nervous.  Her eyes snap to mine.
"You think wearing a suit makes you one of us? Hope your girlfriend is okay with spending her life in prison!" I jump off my seat at once and lunge at her.
"Don't touch what's mine!" I growl. I love the look of fear in her eyes before I'm held back by Mr Gabriel's body guard.

. You rat! The police are getting those photos of that bitch standing over the dead body of the woman I killed! You hear me?! It's over for her!" My face twists in anger. Mr Gabriel shakes his head at me. 
"You should know when you've lost Mrs William." He says calmly. Her eyes turn to slits. 
"I don't lose. I always win!"
"You are going to prison for fraud. It's over." I spit at her.
"Fraud? The police would let me out on bail!  And once I get out, what happened to your stupid wife would just be child's play!" WTF why is this old man's goon holding me back?! I fight his hold. 
"You killed her, you evil woman!" I snap.  Gosh I have to strangle her.
"She was to marry my son or die! She was going to die of poverty anyways!" She spit like a deranged woman.
"Let me go! She killed my wife! She killed Dawn!" I fight harder. The old bitch has the mind to laugh.
"Yes! I killed her. I certainly didn't lose sleep for that one. Your stupid father as well!! They all were in my way! They had it coming!" She screams.
"Arrggghhhhh!!!" I scream as I lunge at her. Nothing can hold me back this time.  I forget that she's a woman and I grab her neck and squeeze, hard.
"Get him off her." I vaguely register the voice before I'm pulled off her by armed police men.
"Mrs William you are under arrest for fraud, embezzlement and murder. You have the right to remain silent." One of them says to her. She's pulled into handcuffs as she fight them off her.
"You don't have any evidence to this!" She yells at no one in particular.
"I'm afraid we heard every thing you said earlier." The man who looks like their leader says.
"I've also got it recorded." Mr Gabriel hand the police man his ring.
"Traitor!" Mrs William screams as she gets dragged off with the police men. Mr Gabriel walks out with them as well and the room goes quiet. I welcome the silence. I slump on the closest chair and stare at the other empty chairs. My head is still spinning from the whiplash of the last few minutes.
"We did it, Dawn." I silently say into the room. It's like I'm back in that tiny place I lived with mother years ago. I'm making the promise to Dawn to give her all these. Tears sting my eyes. I can't believe she killed Dawn! 
"Our daughter will never suffer all thanks to you. You did this. Thank you. I'll never forget you but I have to be happy now okay." I smile weakly into the room. I've just gotten a major victory but I feel like it's a loss.
"I met someone, Dawn. You don't mind right? She loves our daughter. Aurora adores her as well." I sob out a laugh. It's all mixed emotions.
"I lost her though." I say quietly.
"No, you didn't." I swirl the chair around!
"Michelle!" I just stare at her.
"Dawn would want you to be happy, you know right?" She says silently. 
"You are supposed to be in the states." what am I saying. Her face falls and I mentally slap myself.
"Wait! I'm not saying you shouldn't be here. I mean you left so you shouldn't be here. No, I mean---I'm making a mess of this reunion aren't I?" I ask. She nods slowly. I take the few steps to reach where she's standing by the door.
"Ever since Dawn died, I've only had this plan in mind. Get revenge for her. I never planned you." I tell her.
"But you were always here. Showing how to live without a care in the world. You made me feel like a million buck even when I had nothing. You fought for me." a tear falls down her eye. I brush it off slowly. Her skin is so soft. my hand caress a stray hair across her forehead.
"You are so beautiful." I confess without thought. She chuckles and I grin. 
"I can't think of anything else to say but you are beautiful. Inside and out. And you are mine. I'm never letting you go. Ever." I say.
"I don't want to be let go."
"I know. I know." I feather kisses of reverence all over her face.

. She let me smother her.
"You are my dream that came through." I say finally looking into her eyes.
"That's all I needed to hear." Michelle says as she pulls me down to molest my mouth.
"Daddy!" God!  Why does my kid like interrupting?! Michelle pull me upright. 
"The box. Give him the box!" Aurora squeals as she jumps up and down excitedly. Mother comes to stand beside her.
"Oh here." Michelle pass me a box and I recognize it right away. I look to mom who smiles a watery smile. She nods her consent. I go on one knee at once.
"Oh my God! William!" Michelle squeals as she fan her face.
"Calm down." I grin.
"Hey! I've dreamt this scene ever since we were in high school. Do it right!" She pouts.
"Michelle, will you do me the honors of making my dreams come through? And take this beautiful girl as your daughter? " I smile when Aurora comes to kneel down on one kneel beside me.
"of course!" Michelle drops to her knees and hug the both of us.
"I love you." I whisper into her ears. 
"I love you both. Too much." She replies with tears.
"There's no going back." I warn as I pull her off her knees and into my arms, bridal style.
"I never want to go back. Never!" She giggle and it's like music to my ears.
"Good. Now kiss me." I order.
 There's no complaint. She seal our lips together in a perfect kiss that captures not just my heart but also my soul.
