Sister's Love - Episode 19

okay I know it felt like forever not only for you my 

Readers but also for me. First I was sick as in all that which comes with pregnancy. Am expecting our first born Insha Allah and next I lost my phone and after getting this new one I couldn't get thru to my account on ebonystory. But am back. I might be a bit slow because I have work and my condition isn't helping matters here. But I missed you with your comments and everything. I have been silently reading all the ongoing novels cause honestly I can't live without you guys,winks,. Okay enough with my blabbermouth

Am so happy as I can't believe my eyes and I don't even know how everything happened. I sat down trying to process everything in my small head. Yeah I have a small head but cute, winks. Babe am still on my knees..his husky voice brought out of my thoughts. I know now you understand what am talking about yes his down on his knees proposing to me. 

We are at Serena hotel one of the most expensive and biggest hotel in Uganda and I feel like am in heaven. I look around to see people taking pictures whilst shouting say yes. I wanted to shout at the top of my voice and give him a bighug but my body and voice betrayed me

. All I did was to nod my head in approval and stretch out my hand for him where he placed a diamond ring and kissed it before pulling me to him and kissed me passionately on the lips. At first I was afraid yes call me stupid but public display of affection that's not me. In fact it was my first time kissing him in public. 

Flash back before the proposal

After getting back home from his house I had a slight knock on my door. I was at first hesitant to open but when I had Lucy's voice I decided to open for her. I knew she was going to scold me for coming back late but what could I have done. Sometimes this girl really pisses me off. Maggie Lucy called almost in a whisper but enough for me to hear as she embraced me in a very tight hug as hot tears rolled down her eyes. 

I was dumbfounded because I didn't know what happened in my absence and then I started to panick . A lot was going on in my mind at that time. 

Maggie; Lucy what happened why are you crying? 

Lucy; I love you so much Maggie and am sorry if I ever caused you pain.

Maggie, what are you talking about Lucy are you sick? I asked sitting her on the bed checking her forehead for any malaria signs.

Lucy, stop acting like the mother Maggie am fine and am just sorry I have been so selfish

My heartbroke with her words, I didn't understand what was going on . Am the selfish one she has done so much already for me and o think haven't done anything for her. 

She told me her feelings for Sam and told me everything I wanted to know. She told me how she envied me for having the man she so much desired and I couldn't help but break down in tears. My sister has been through hell. She told me how she talked with Sam and asked him to take care of me and protect me concealing her feelings from him. She told me how she wants me to get married to Sam and live a happy life. She also asked me to join university once the results are out. She also told me about this date at Serena hotel and asked me to enjoy myself. I cried all through her words my sister is the most beautiful person I have known in and out. To say I was happy its understatement. I hugged her tightly until we both couldn't breath. 

I don't know how she's gonna cope but I believe and trust her. she's a very strong woman and I promised myself to protect her behind her back. She's the best sister a person could ever ask for.

Sam's POV

I thought Lucy had feelings for me the way she was behaving but I was wrong. I think she was being over protective of her sister. She called me just when I was with Maggie and mom.

. Good enough they were so taken up in their conversation you know women huh.. She acted like s fierce big sister and gave me the go ahead with her sister. She asked me to protect her and help her with her studies. When I talked about marriage she accepted saying the earlier the better. Gosh who is this girl I opened my mouth to speak but no words came out. Mom HSS been on my back pestering me to marry and I was so afraid of Lucy, guess I was wrong. We talked for a while and she suggested I propose to Maggie the next day and offered to help in the necessary arrangement. I guess am the luckiest man on the planet as I sit here with her knowing she will be mine in less than a month. Yes call me crazy but am marrying this woman in three weeks time.

I proposed to her today and gosh she looked shocked you know those looks in the movies when you do the unthinkable yeah she gave me that look before nodding her head for a yes. Lucy was with us but at a distance I think she's trying to give us space. After the kiss which I cut short because it made my babe uncomfortable we ordered for our food and drinks and just then we had gunshots within the same room as people scattered and screamed at the top of their voices.
