Chai! It was the last episode that made me realize ive got plenty naughty and badass readers! Ehnehn! SONIA

Since we got back from the hotel that morning, we hadn’t seen each other , let alone talk to each other. Seems like he just vanished somewhere, well, I was pretty occupied myself. I had eaten the dinner alone as he was completely out of sight, well, it was good, I wasn’t ready to confront him just yet but I sure missed his company and the thought of him still being angry wth me just made me more nervous

I was in my room, I had my lips fixed on the cold surface of the hand mirror that Madam Koffi had given me as I kept pushing and squeezing my lips...and then stuck my tongue out! Oh dear, that looked like a she-goat trying to eat a cassava…it was just bad.

My heart kept racing and I was just nervous all through the day…still nervous. You know that feeling you have when you are about to defend a debate topic for the first time before the entire school and you start forgetting things you have memorized, yea, that was exactly the way I felt

. It was just bad.

I checked the time, it was almost 7 pm, my plan was to go to his study and just check on him to apologise for this morning which I was still finding difficult to erase.

I had told Madam Koffi that the kiss was not a big deal, if I couldn’t kiss him tonight, then she would think I chickened out, besides, the sooner the better for me to get out of here on time.

I stood up and walked to the standing mirror. Madam Koffi had given me new clothes to wear for the evening, it was a pair of jean and a blue-crop top which neck started far below my neck and just around my chest…it was perfect for the kissing occasion.

I don’t understand this place yet, the clothes seemed to be coming from now where but Madam Koffi said they had brought lots of cloths for me when they came to settle here. another mystery I needed to solve. Why did he just plan to keep me here , why did he build his life around my imprisonment…?

Anyways, baby step Stonia! One thing at a time! You need to get your shits together!

Just as I decided to leave the room, a light knock sounded on my door.

“Yes, come in.” I replied, thinking it was Madam Koffi but it was one of the guards.

“Boss asked if you could join him in the garden.”

Oh wow! Perfect!

“Sure, please lead the way.”

CALVIN

Again, for the millionth time, I blew some air on my palm and sniffed at it---no mouth odour, anything at all, it smelt like wine and that was good.

I checked the bottle of wine on the table for two which I had arranged for the both of us, I just realized I had drunk the wine to almost half of the bottle…

I needed to stop but I couldn’t…

I was feeling so nervous and my palms were sweaty!

Get a hold of yourself CAIN! A voice said in my head, calling my acronym for the first time in many years! You have laid with princesses, queens and whores, a simples girl is no match for just an ordinary kiss!

That voice had helped me lots of times but this time, it was not working at all as i could feel hot sensation all over me as I spotted her behind the guard.

Oh my God! Did she have to look this beautiful and sexy! Today of all days! The blue crop-top revealed a large portion of her  beautiful neck and shoulders, the jean..oh damn! She was curvy, why didn’t I never realize that?

Was the wine making me see different things or was fate playing joke on me?

I needed more drink….

SONIA

 This was the first time I would take a stroll around the garden and it was so beautiful, if there was a paradise on earth, this could be it.

There was a circular lawn and a path around it on which we walked. There was a central bed of shrubs, rose bush beds and other beautifully colored flowers…

When I spotted him in the open field, standing in his white leather jackets and blue checkered jean, my heart did a double flip!

Why should his hair be this curly and more shiny today of all days and why was he wearing white jacket anyway? They fitted him so much...especially against those curly hair and his red lips, wait,  seems I never knew that his lips were this red! O fcourse he was a white man, all their lips were always sexy and kissable!

Please Sonia! Don’t think about anything that begins with a K-i-s-s else you will just faint!

Oh God! He looked so adorable and so handsome and so…..Ben! Think of Ben Sonia! Each time you think of Ben, everything will be calm….

Okay, here comes the calm…..1, 2,3—God I am not calm!!

As Sonia got to Calvin, it was kind of awkward between the both of them as he pushed pulled out the chair for her  but the leg of the table got hooked with the leg of chair so he had to pull and push, trying so hard not to embarrass himself while Sonia tried not to laugh….

Finally, they both settled down…looking around the garden.

“This is so beautiful Calvin…”Sonia began, trying to sound as cool as she could.

“Thanks, I spent a lot of money getting this place.” He replied, pouring her a fruit juice.

“You didn’t come for dinner tonight, were you angry with me still?” Sonia asked, desperate to keep the conversation going.

Calvin smiled. “I was a jerk ass, I shouldn’t have made it a big deal like I did.”

She looked surprised, this was getting even more comfortable than she thought, maybe not thinking about the kiss was helpful afterall…

“I was the jerk, you know, I shouldn’t have thought such.”

“No, I was, you apologised so many times, I should have let it go.”

Sonia smiled as she lifted the cup to her lips…this was getting more interesting and she was actually relaxing…as Calvin was.

Calvin chuckled twice.

‘Why? What’s funny?” She asked.

“Well, I just don’t know how we both slept off all cuddled up as if we have been a couple for years…”

To this Sonia smiled. “Well, you are right. Who started it though? Please don’t say I did.” She pleaded.

Calvin laughed as he leaned back.

. ‘Well, you did, you put your head on my chest and I assumed you were cold …”

“Damn it!” Sonia cried while laughing. “I am a total wreck! I used to sleep walk when I was a kid you know.”

Calvin laughed. “really?”

“Yea, my adopted mother once told me I walked in on her and my adopted father while they were having sex and I was looking at them. But I didn’t even remember.”

Now, both of them were laughing so hard…

“That was something else Sonia, I swear, so what happened next?”

She shrugged and continued. “I was told  they almost fainted when they saw me looking at them but then they realized I was sleep walking so they just took me back to my room. Atleast, thank God I don’t remember their nakedness, I would have had lots of nightmares!”

Calvin laughed more before taking his drink.

“What about your parents Calvin?” She asked without thinking and she regretted it instantly as his eyes darkened and his adams apple bulged out…

“I’m sorry, I didn’t know….”

“It’s okay.” He said roughly and then managed a smile. “I grew up with my grandfather, both parents died at….” He paused and then continued… “…in an accident.” He lied, his parents had died in a war.

‘Wow, only you?”

He shook his head. ‘No, with my brother.” He replied, he had no reason why he was saying all these to her for the first time. He has never told anyone anything about him, infact, no one has ever gotten so close to ask him such a personal question but with her….right now, there was peace and he actually felt like telling her everything….

“You have a brother?” She asked in bewilderment.

“Sure. Why do you look so surprised?”

“I thought you dropped from the sky or probably hatched!” She blurted out, sticking her tongue out at him before standing up while he laughed, standing up to follow her.

“Where are you going?” HE asked as they walked.

“I don’t know, I know there is a lake outside, just thought we could take a stroll, besides, the whole tall about your family was kindda making you all mushy mushy like a wet puppy, I like it when you are yourself, like the daredevil!”

Calvin was fascinated, surprised and impressed though. He led the way towards the lake while she followed.

“Daredevil?”

“Yea, that’s how I see you, now come on, been a while I did this…”

“Do what?”

He watched as Sonia rushed to the water and dipped her hands inside to throw some at him….

He ducked to avoid getting wet…”Stop it! I do not want to get my jacket wet!”

She kept on laughing and throwing more water at him, he kept on ducking until he ran towards and lifted her up so she wouldn’t be able to do that again….

He had already done that before he realized  what he was doing and while she laughed and was in his arms...she began to realize what she was doing….

Rhythmically, their hearts kept beating together….still in his arms…they both knew this was the chance they were waiting for….perhaps it was the magnetic pull or whatever, but when their lips finally touched, they both threw all caution to the wind……

OKAY O..E DON HAPPEN…THE MOMENT YOU HAVE BEEN WAITING FOR! I HAD TO POST THIS SO SOME PEOPLE CAN SLEEP PEACEFULLY WITHOUT APPEARING IN MY DREAM , CHASING ME TO GO AND UPLOAD…(DON’T WORRY I WONT MENTION NAMES*TONGUE OUT*) BUT YOU LIKE KISSING SHA! HAHA! WELL, I DO TO, *WINKS* HAHAHA…GOODNIGHT FOLKS.
