The God And His Bride - Episode 17

The whole island felt it, It was something not to be ignored, those who understood knew it was a sign from the gods.

But the gods knew, they felt it, Alixi the great and powerful was angry.

"What happened?" Maia asks as she gets closer, standing in front of Alixi's great doors where Tajiki, the messenger god and Nero, the god of steel. 

"We haven't been able to find out" Nero says and Maia smiles at him, Nero smiles back,. Maia likes Nero, after Alixi Nero is the next person who holds a candle in her heart. 

"He's acting like a diva, do you think it's wise for us to find out?" Taji asks and Maia face turns sour. 

It's safe to say that Maia is not a fan of Tajiki, it's definitely safe to say that, the cockiness and arrogance that he exudes makes anyone who comes in contact with him immediately back away. 

His worshipers are like that also, self absorbed idiots, the whole lot of them. 

"You've learnt a new word Taji" Maia says and his eyes darkens, he doesnt like being teased. 

"I'm going in" Maia says, bracing herself, she waves her hand the great doors open. 

" It's Either you are here to give me news about Milo or tell me that you've found a new type of energy, exit if it's none of that" Alixi says from his position at the mantle, He's staring into the fire and Maia can just make out images 

"I'm here for none of that Alixi" Maia says stepping forward to be a foot behind Alixi as he watches the fire. 

Inside it, inside it is a girl, a little scrap of a girl, kissing a man. 

Maia didn't have to go back to her lair and look into her water ball, she knew this girl with the shining light and the star on her head is the bride of Alixi. 

Ha, Now the source of his anger is obvious. 

"Is she supposed to be able to do that?" She asks, it's a given that the marked of the gods should never, will never be able to be intimate with any other than their gods.

"Then how is it that he is able to do that?" There's only one way, one ways that's inconsiderable, The blessed of the gods is being marked by another god.

"She needs guidance, she's doing things, bringing back the dead, you've done nothing about it for a long time Alixi" Maia continues, forging on. 

"Maybe, maybe you might have to set her loose" Maia says and the ground beneath her feet rumbles. 

"You don't like that idea? Then do something, do something Lix! The gods are angry, they want her blood, it's either you claim her to keep her safe or you let her loose and let her be swallowed by the gods or for once you stop going easy in her and set her straight, She has only one chance Alixi, bride of the God or not, one more strike is going to bring the heavens down on her head "
