So Ada took to your advices and told her parents the truth . 

Now that is done, let see what will happen now and what happened before. 

Previously on the last episode. 
    "Ada you this girl so it was farm you went to that I have been looking for you since morning thinking maybe you have gone to school " my stepmother said and this left me speechless. How does this woman manage to do this all the time and still keep up a straight face, she is so good with it . But  well not today I won't be quiet. I told myself. 

Then mother turned to me and asked me saying Ada why did you go to the farm instead of school? 

No mama I didn't want to. ....... I managed to say before I sighted my stepmother from a distance make a bad gestures towards my baby brother, showing me a sign of her strangling him and I was forced to fight back tears and lie. 

Eh.........Ehn mama I wanted to be a home when you people got back but I got bored so I went to the farm. I lied. 
  Then my stepmother came again and said but my husband i did tell her to go to school this morning, or didn't I Ada? now facing me so I had to lie again,  Yes mama you did am sorry mum and dad

. I said as I fought so hard to stop myself from shouting out the truth. 

But I had to lie to keep my brother safe from her, so later on mother wanted to cook and I saw her taking that same pot which I saw my stepmother using to wash two days ago.  No I won't allow my mother to use that same  pot to cook the food we were going to eat so I went to her and told her not to use the pot and she was  surprised and  curious why I asked that of her. And she demanded to know why , But I told her there was nothing just that she shouldn't use the pot and she asked me again what the problem was with me and her using the pot and since I  couldn't give a meanful excuse  she had to use it.

No mother you can't cook in this pot not ever again, I told her as I  knockedown the pot from the fire . 

This was just it, for it left mother speechless but as she found her tongue and herself,  I Sha got a dirty slap from her (laughing ) funny isn't, that with all the ones I got a day before and now another from my own  mother but the difference is that mother after doing so she cupped me in a tight hug and said she was sorry for heating me but that I got her angry,  but now I need to know what happened or why you didn't want me to use the pot, so talk to me my princess am your mother so you can tell me anything okay . she said

Hearing this from her reasured me and made me calm so after I had joined her in making dinner and eat, me and her had mother and daughter  talk and I seized the opportunity to tell her everything not minding the consequences. 

Mother I want to tell you something, I began and she  became alart and sensed that I was tensed and scared of something or someone,

So she waited for me to calm down and as soon as I did she then said my daughter what is  it that is bordering you or who is troubling you tell me.

If you don't confidend in me your mother, then who will you? So after this I told her. So I start; Mother i told you not to use the pot because of what I saw  small mother do with the pot, and what did you see my daughter she aaked? I  saw her using the pot to wash her pants and baby Uche's napkins as I got back from school yesterday afternoon,  then I poured the clothes away from the pot mother but she had me beaten up that I fell down and slept off till evening before I opened my eyes and she came laughed at me and called you stupid and foolish mother, she took the food you left for me and told me that I won't eat till you returned. 

Ah! So you mean to tell me that she had you beaten till you passed out and also that you haven't eaten anything till now? No mother when she sent me to the farm I met John and he gave me food which I ate. So if not for John mother I wouldn't have eaten today till you people get back.

"Ewe a hoo! Mother shouted, so you mean to tell me that she was the one who sent you to the farm and stopped you from going to school, and not to even think that she was lying when she said she told you to go to school and didn't know where you were, she said not actually throwing the question at me. and I nodded my head in return. 

Conforming that which I have said to her now she summoned my father to hear what she had just heard and as soon as father came to join us, I was asked to repeat everything.

  According to my mother "hear it from the horses mouth yourself " so I started all over again and before I could finish telling my father everything,father has already started walking to her (my step mother's ) hut.
