"what is keeping Felix? Why havent he come to see me since ? Is he Alright?"

Mercy asked Hugo who brought her breakfast for her on bed. She had spent all the night thinking about him.

"don't worry miss, he is okay"

he replied.

"Then what's keeping him from visiting? Have he forgotten he made a promise to be with me till i get better?"

mercy proded with deep worries in her heart.

"he is probably busy now with the welcome party of His long time Girl friend who returned from Germany yesterday. He will definitely come around after the Party is dusted. Just have your launch and worry your self less"

Hugo replied. Immediately, her mind scattered with out her permission.

She felt her eyes becoming pepperish with tears which were threatening to drop.

She don't know he has a girl friend and she was actually hoping all these while that ......... Or may be it was just an imagination.

She don't even know him that much, how could she have developed so much feeling for him in just a short space of time

. her feelings were bruised at the thought that he haves a girlfriend. the piece of information Hugo has given her hurt her so much and it took her appitite away.

"i am not hungry"

she murmmured before lying on the bed to face the wall. Hugo tried all his possibilities to make her eat but all was in vain.

they Party was going smooth as planned. Martina and Felix went around the garden as they discussed.

"you've really grown into a beautiful Lady"

Felix remarked.

"thanks. You too. I cant even believe that the annoying boy who will always tease and hide my shoes is still the same Handsome Man standing beside me now"

Martina said abruptly. Felix smiled as he raced his mind back when they were still kids .

She used to be his friend and people will always tease and call them husband and wife. How ever, as they grew older, he began to fight any one who referes to them as husband and wife.

They also used to argue alot and when ever she didnt agree with him, he will hide one of her shoe so she will go home on bare foot. Her father and his were tight friends and business partiners as well thats why they allowed their children to grow up together. . Nevertheless, her grand mother in Germany became very ill and she traveled with her mother to germany to take care of her . Months later her mum returned and left her behind with her grand mother in Germany.

"i have missed you so much, you dont know how happy i used to be when ever i receive a message from your dad who sends me your greetings.

Her voice drew him back to present happening and he stopped and stood at a place so as to have a monumental comprehension of what she said.

"you mean my Dad reaches you with messages and greetings on my behalf?"

he probed looking surprised.

"yes he does. "

she replied earnestly.

Felix couldn't believe what she told him. how can his father send her messages behind his back? That old man is definitely upto something.

If left for him, being in touch with her was probably some of the least he will think of doing.

He was very happy When she traveled to germany,. Atleast, no one will tease him again of having a wife.

So therefore , he had avoided girls so no one will tease him again. but very little did he know of what his father does behind him.

No wonder he was bent on giving her a welcome party.

His heart was already foaming with anger as he thought on how to confront his father for what he did.

But then the anger changed to worry when hugo called.

"hello boss"

Hugo said.

"Hugo , how's things over there?" Felix asked.

"things are bad here. the lady, i dont think shes okay , she has been rejecting all the food i prepared for her. She refused to eat any thing. She even refused to get down from the bed. Her eyes is swollen red like some one who had been crying but i saw no tears. I have done my best in looking after her. I think she needs your attention."

Felix felt his heart sinking into his belly, he looked at Martina, she was glaring at him affectionately.

He really needs to go and see Mercy, leaving the Party at that moment will be so rude of him.

He chewed his chord hard as he thought of what to do
