Gavin winked at his daugther who was just staring motionlessly. How ever , he continued when he realise she wasn't ready to say any thing yet..

Chief Gavin concluded forecasting within him that he had made a positive impact in her. Mirabell was dumbfounded as she deliberated on what to say. She felt for her father and wished to make him happy by setting things right. at the same time , she loves Harry so much so that her paramount wish is to be with him for the rest of her life. Getting married to frank simply means breaking up with him and she was definitely not willing to do that. Especially at this moment when they are now engaged to each other. "okay dad, I've heard what you said. I will give a thought about that" she said after a moment of silent. "there is nothing there to think about because we have no choice. Frank will be here tomorrow to take you out for a date so get your self ready. " Gavin asserted. "okay dad. I will be ready for him tomorrow." she forced a smile out of her lips in approval to his demand and that made his heart tingle with joy. He left with an elated spirit having the conviction that his plans are working out just fine. Mirabell kept herself busy by thinking and pondering. Yes she loves Harry with all her heart and would like to spend her remaining life time with him. At the same time, no one wishes to loose his or her family too. Her father has done much for her so it would be so wise to make him happy by accepting the marriage. But then she is already engaged to Harry. What could she do? She kept on thinking so hard till she fell asleep. The next day, she came to a conclusion of giving Frank a try. A date won't hurt. Harry will always understand.

The car hunking at the gate states it clear that he had arrived. Already, she had been dressed up for about ten minutes ago waiting for him. Within few minutes, she could hear voices in the sitting room Which is to say that he is now exchanging pleasant greetings with her father who sounds so drunk with happiness.

His subconscious mind remarked. "here comes my bride to be" he stated proudly and she blushed. He went beside her , took her right hand and kissed it just like he did the other day. She took a quick glance at him and observed he is extremely cute and handsome. "my princess, shall we now go for our date" he asked bowing a little. "alright" she said and he led the way still holding her hand.
