To Hate Emmanuel Johnsons - Episode 4

Emmanuel's pov

  Finally, school is over for the day. I didn't really pay attention

to any of the teachers that taught today. My eyes and focus were on

tessy or tess as her friends call her. She was really focused on all

the lessons though. I thought she would be a dull girl as she's the

daughter of tehila but no, she basically shone through all the

lessons.

  From watching her, i have noticed alot of things about her. Her

habit of sticking her tongue out when she's writing or focusing on

something. I have even noticed the cute little mole on the back of her

neck. I wouldn't mind touching it. I keep telling my self not to get

attracted to her but i can't seem to stop myself.

  I can't believe i called her an ugly fish. That is so far from the

truth and the shock and the hurt on her face should be satisfying

because i was making her life miserable just like my life was now

miserable but i just felt like a jerk. It was also exciting and its

been a while since anything excites me. I think am gonna love messing

with tessy.

I am sure her attitude was just a show. She was a gold digger like

her mother

. She has to be. I went there on a mission and i will do

well to remember that. No matter how pretty she is.

I've made some friends in that class. The delinquents of the class,

chukwuka, arinze and God'spower are the perfect choice to help in my

plans to frustrate tessy. They would do anything for money. Rita seems

to hate tessy. I could also use her. Rita is pretty but she's too fake

to interest me.

Getting home, my dad isn't home. Yea, no shock there. He is always

away either for work or for pleasure aka tehila. I move to my room

upstairs and pick up my phone to call my dad about visiting our family

doctor. I have been having pains in my abdomen for some time now and

he had promised we'd go to the hospital today. The call goes through

and i hear a female voice in the background.

"emmanuel, am busy. Why are you calling?" he says.

"well hello to you too dad"

"i don't have time for your sarcasm.."

"you don't have time for anything un-tehila like" i grumble, grinding my teeth.

"she is going to be your mother soon so you better show some respect

when you talk about her"

"she is not my mother and she will never be!"

"young man, you better stop trying my patience and tell me what you

called me for"

"its nothing important dad..forget it"

"you are no longer a kid Manuel so you should start acting like an

adult. By the way tehila is coming with her kids to the house to visit

this weekend. So you better adopt a better attitude before then" he

says and hang up.

Sighing, i throw my phone on my bed then pick up the photo beside my

bed, on the night stand. It's a photo of my dad, my mom and i. It was

taken last year and we look so happy in the picture. My mom does look

a little pale though.

My phone buzz and i pick it up to see a text from Alex, my best

friend. He is the only one that knows about my plans.

Alex- how did today go?... Did you meet tessy?

Emmanuel- it went great. You should see her face when i called her an ugly fish.

Alex- you called her an ugly fish?. Wow man. Is she ugly?

Emmanuel- i wouldn't say she is sha..

Alex- omg.. U think she's pretty!. I like where dis is goin.

"crazy guy" i say as i log into Facebook as i thought of an idea. I

need to befriend tessy online. I tell myself that am doing this to

know more about her so i would know what i could use to hurt her but

it may be that i just want to know her.

I open a new account using favour lee so she won't recognise me, then

i search for her name on fb. I find her among others. Her profile pic

is of her and a little girl. She looks so damn cute with that smile as

she stands with the little kid in the photo. The kid is probably her

little sister.

After sending her a friend request, i move to the kitchen to find

something to eat. Our house keeper has gone home for the day but she

left some food in the fridge for me to eat. I serve my food and take

it upstairs to my room as i pick my laptop to watch the latest episode

of The flash as i wait for tessy to accept my friend request. This is

gonna be fun.
