Twisted Twice, Twisted Mine - Episode 28

Adeline.

I stand nervously at the door to the restaurant until Levi pulls me in, Aaron is standing guard behind me, silently giving me his support.

I look around and the restaurant is mostly empty except for the staff, then again it's pretty early in the day. 

I look up to see the guy from before approaching us, he's not in a chef outfit this time, but a ridiculously ripped jeans and a tucked in sleeve.

I look closely and I see that in addition to his nose ring he has a lip ring, a brow ring and several rings on his fingers. This guy is a walking metal factory. Oh and let's not forget the tattoo peeking from his neck and the ones showing from his rolled up sleeve. 

"I assume you are here for Adélie?" He says and I nod. I detect a slight hint of an accent and it sounds black American - ish

"You shouldn't have run girl, You fucked up doing that, hurt my girl and I don't like it, ain't gonna give you nothing, so buzz off" He says and the guilt eating at me suddenly increases.

Levi steps forward, Mr. Chef's eyes go to him. They show mild surprise. 

"Levi Carter? Man I'm your biggest fan, all the way from America man"

Levi nods.

"Thanks man, I appreciate it, my girl needs to speak with her sister, do us a favor and help us get in contact with her" Levi says and Mr. Chef's eyes comes to me.

"You are pretty as Adélie, a little different so im 'ma give you her address, but I'm gonna tell you this..." his eyes go to Levi.

"Adélie shows up here acting all hurt and sh*t? Imma make you loose that appreciation you got real fast" He says and my heart warms to know that Adee has a friend like this.

. Chef(why I'm I calling him that?) hands us a written address and I throw him a grateful smile before turning to leave.

"Tell Adélie to bring her ass here if she doesn't want me to come get her at that massion of hers, yeah?"

I nod like a simpleton and he gives me a wink and a thumbs up, Jesus, he's hot, I almost sigh. 

Levi pulls me along. 

"Did you see the tattoos on that guy? It's a Chinese script, sh*t.. I'm getting another one" Aaron gushes... Yes gushes and I nod. 

"He wasn't that great" Levi comment sorely and Aaron smirks as we get into the back and him the front. 

"Jealousy Levi? It doesn't become you" He says and Levi almost pouts, I rest my head on his shoulder and close my eyes as he gives Aaron the address and they bicker about his jealousy. 

I get shaken awake after a while, not that I was really asleep, I'm too high strung to really sleep. 

The house comes into view and I clench my fist in the polo dress I'm wearing,Levi took me out to shopping, I wanna look good today of all days. 

We get to the entrance and the automatic gates swing open, I grab a hold of Levi's hand and he holds on too.

"Calm down Addie, you've got this" Aaron says from his seat. 

The car comes to a stop and I exit slowly, the great doors open and a lady steps out. 

I freeze, it's an older version of me, Jesus, this woman is my mother. 

She closes her mouth with her fist as tears pours from her eyes, my eyes go to the man standing besides her and I break. 

"Dad.. Dy" I say brokenly and he takes a step forward, it sends me flying into his arms, he holds on tight and I do too, Mum joins in and I cry as peace settles over me. 

I've been away for too long, I've missed them holding me like this, ever since those men pulled I and Adélie from the beach, I've missed my mom and dad. 

Mom sobs softly as she pats my face, my hair, everywhere.. 

"My sweet sweet girl.. I thought I'd lost you" She says brokenly and I nod, sobbing a laugh.

"Never in my wildest dreams did I think you would find your way back home.. I was.. Forgive me sweet girl for loosing you my precious" She says and dad holds her back as she cries deeply. 

My eyes goes to the figure standing a little ways away and my heart clench. 

"Adee..." I start. 

She stumbles back. 

"Adee.. I missed you" I say and she stops, her eyes filling with tears as she steps forward, I close the distance to embrace her and she sobs. 

"I've missed you Addie" She says in a whisper.. "When the masked man took you away he took me with you.. I'm sorry I couldn't protect you.. I'm...I'm so so sorry, I wanted a chance to tell you how sorry I've felt... I'm so sorry addie.. I'm so sorry..

. So sorry" I hold her as she cries into my body. 

"When you ran away the other day I.. I thought you hated me and that's why you ran.. I didn't tell anyone.. I'm too much of a coward... I'm so sorry.." 

She breaks down again and I do too. 

"I'm the coward.. I was scared.. I lost all my memories.. I was.. I wasn't strong then" I say and she pats my hair, wiping my tears, forcing a smile. 

My big sister, always there to protect. 

I give her the smile she wants and she melts before my eyes. 

"I missed you baby girl" She says and I nod, swallowing my sob. 

"Mr. Chef wants you to come see him or else he would come drag your ass to him" I say in a bid to lighten the mood, she frowns before her eyes clears, her eyes going to our parents. 

She nods, she pulls me closer when Levi steps forward. 

I shake my head and at him and he understands, it's okay, I'm okay and he gets it. 

"But.. Levi, how are you here?" Dad asks and I frown.

"I'm sorry, do I know you sir?" My parents frown.
