Ada - Episode 1
THE MEETING

“Ada, I love your bold spirit, you know, the way you do things your way”
“Spill the milk Cleo, what is it this time?”
“Wait, so I can’t just say something nice eh?”
“Cleo, this is us, I know you. Just say it”
Twenty five years old Ada is stock to her friend Cleo. She knows to a certain degree she was the opposite of everything Cleopatra represented. She just can’t recall how they became friends but she was certain it all began after she lost her mum five years ago. Cleo had helped her face life and like a big sister, she somehow filled the vacuum her mother’s death created, they’ve both become fond of each other, so much that after school, they rented an apartment together. Of course there was a “but”, Cleo would never give her air. She was more like the nagging big sister, and she would always begin her nagging with an appraisal. Ada knew something was up, so whilst Cleo went upstairs, she tried to recall the events of the evening.
“And that was how you walked past Jason as though he was some plague” Cleo said as she walked to the kitchen.
“You know he is the last creature I want to see” Ada replied loud enough for Cleo to hear.

“I can’t throw myself on him. I can’t call him. Whenever our paths cross again I’d apologize, moreover, his feet was on my way. It was not my making, I got an opportunity, and I took it. Am sure it hurts badly, but not as he had hurt me.

“Forgiveness is power. You want power over him, you forgive him. On the other hand you could give him a place in your head and push a wheelbarrow of your past experiences around while he lives his life. You need to grow out of this mess. You are better than all this. Good night”. Cleo left her and headed for her room.
Ada’s eyes were misty. Thanks to Cleo. She cried a river, and finally fell asleep on the couch.
