Banished Angel - Episode 7

Elena woke up the next morning feeling very tired, she hardly slept through out the night, she had so many nightmares and she was very grateful that the Angel was there to help her through it.

Raguel was watching Elena closely, he just love the way she looks he could not believe he was this lucky to have a solumate like that, when Elena's eyes landed on him, he quickly averted his eyes.

Good morning, Elena said in yawns 

Good morning Raguel answered with a big smile plastered on his face.

I did not think you will be here when I wake up Elena said as she stood up from her bed and made her way to where the Angel was sitting, she was very excited he was still there, she was trying to contain her happiness, she was really trying not to smile like an idiot.

I told you I will stay and watch over you, Raguel said with a smile, Elena always love it when he said that.

Elena are you up, Maria's voice echoed from the corridor as she made her way to get daughter's room.

Elena tensed up, quickly make yourself invincible she said in a hurry. Raguel quickly did as he was told, Elena tilted her head in confusion,

"You are not invincible" I can see you 

What! Raguel said giving her a confuse frown he knows its not possible for her to see him, before they could come up with another solution, Maria opened the door and stood at the doorway .

Elena frozed up, she does not know how to explain to her mother about the man standing by her side she held her breathe and waited for the worse to happen.

Are you alright? Maria asked as she moved from the doorway to her daughter, who has not respond to her question.

Are you sick or something? She asked as she places her hand on Elena's forehead to check if her temperature was high, but she did not notice anything different she was completely fine.

Am fine mom, Elena finally answered, it was clear that her mother could not see the Angel standing by her side, she does not even have the energy to think why her mother could not see him, but she was very grateful at that moment.

Okay if you say so, come downstairs for breakfast, your father and I will be waiting for you. With that Maria left the room and shutting the door behind her.

What was that? Elena asked immediately her mother left the room, it was clear that she did not see you, so how is it possible that I can see you when you are invincible? 

I don't know, Raguel said honestly he was still confused as to why Elena could see him

. Okay I will go downstairs for breakfast, do you want anything, she asked, no am fine Raguel said, with that Elena left the room.

Raguel sat down and linked his fingers together, he was in deep thought and wondering why Elena could see him when he is invincible.

"i know its not the bond, she cannot feel the bond" he said in a whisper, only an Angel  can see another Angel when they are invincible he was confused on what to think.

Elena was sitting quietly eating her breakfast, her mind kept wandering back to what happen in her room, Elena's father Steven noticed something is off about his daughter.

Are you alright? Steven asked Elena,

Am fine dad Elena said trying to force a smile on her face, Steven gave her a skeptical look before he said; if anything is troubling you, you know you can always talk to us he said as he patted her gently on her back, he stood up and kissed her cheek and also kissed his wife, do take care of yourself he said as he made his way to work.

Goodbye they both said in unison. Steven is a very busy man and he hardly stays at home they have both gotten used to not always having him around.

Mom, I will head to my room Elena said as she stood up, she did not wait for her mother to answer because she knows her mother would want to talk to her but she was in no mood to talk.

Maria watched her daughter as she made her way to her room she Knew something was off about her daughter but she could not seem to figure it out, she signed and shook her head and continued with her breakfast.

Elena enters her room and her eyes landed on the Angel who was standing by the window, Raguel sensed her presence he turned and walked up to her.

Am sorry Elena but I have to go, Raguel hates to leave her but he had so many unanswered questions.

Elena did not bothered to ask how he knows her name, because its clear Raguel heard it when her mother called her, she loves the way her name sounded from his mouth, okay Elena finally said, Raguel flashed his wings ready to go before Elena spoke.

Wait!  She said, which made Raguel to turn and look at her 

Will I see you again she asked, of course you will Raguel said with a smile on his face, I don't even know the name of my guardian Angel 

It's Raguel, with that he flashed his wings again and flew off, Raguel Elena repeated his name smiling widely.
