Black Widow - Episode 25

OKAY SO IM ON MY KNEES...IM SO SORRY FOR THE DELAY...TRUTH IS, I ACTUALLY DON'T HAVE MUCH TIME IN MY HANDS LIKE BEFORE.JUST HAD TO DROP THIS AND HOPEULLY EVERYDAY, I WILL MAKE SURE I UPLOAD SO WE CAN BE DONE WITH THIS!

“Wait, I don’t understand. You mean your parents are members o Black Widow?” Sonia asked.

The lad walked over to collect the bottle of beer that Sodi was pointing at him.

“Well, where do I even start from?” He began, gulping the drink.

‘Well, get on with it!” Calvin snapped impatiently.

“There is a  close family of mine here in South Africa. The husband is an artist, I don’t know if you have heard about the Fred Exhibition that took place last month here...”

“Oh yea. That was where we got that Van gohl painting on the wall. The man is really multi-talented.” Sonia quickly said, pointing to a beautiful art work on the wall.”

“You mean you know the man who painted that?” Calvin asked.

“Yes. I helped avenge him and his family from Tommy, a member o a Black Widow who tried to kill him and who tried to take his wife and kid. While I helped , I got a message about the death of my mother shortly after my father died and since then, I have been working so hard to find out what really caused their death

. Later I found out that he was a Black Widow and now they are also after me and I have to get rid of them before they find me.”

Everyone was quiet until Calvin broke the silence.

‘Well, at least, now we know what is happening. Everyone get your things ready, we are going back to Nigeria. Sody, consult with the Triad,  I will talk to my men about what we are doing. Boy, you draw us a plan about the ruby thing and how we can....” Calvin stopped as the screen on the wall came into view.

“Wow! I think Fabian is sending us a message.” Sonia said, pointing to the screen.

By the time they got to the lab, Fabian, held his breath as the door opened.  There were nurses and doctors all surrounding the bed. He followed the boss inside. His stomach tightened as he saw someone holding a mirror and sitting on the bed, even though she looked  exactly the same, he could tell that she was someone else entirely.

As she sighted them, she smiled.

“Hello Shelby, how are you doing today?”

“Fine thank you.” She replied, rigidly, almost like a robot.

Fabian kept looking at her but she paid no attention to him.

“So  father, now that I am well, can I leave this place? I think I am ready to do anything you want me to do right now.” She said, still smiling.

The father evaluated her for a while and then put a hand around Fabian.

“Hey  Shelby, do you recognize him?”

For a while, his chest beat rapidly as she turned to look at him. As their eyes met, his heart beat paused for a while.

“Of course I do, he is the former head of operation isn’t he?”

Both Father and Fabian exchanged glances.

“So are you saying that is all you know about him?” The father asked again.

“Yes dad. Is there anything else important about him?”

The father smiled satisfactorily.

. “No my darling. There is absolutely nothing.”

“When can I go for operation father? I feel like killing some people right now, it’s kindda exciting isn’t it?”

“Yes it is.” The father replied proudly. “Come daughter, I have a list for you, starting with a doctor in the UK , I’m sure you would know him. He is related to one Michael that used to work for us who we later killed.”

As the father spoke, he kept looking at Fabian or any sign of emotion or weakness but Fabian gave none. He was as rigid as hell even though he was heartbroken because now he knew that Shelby was now a computerized killer and would kill anyone in her part. Right now, even he was not safe.

“Well, that is no problem.” Shelby said, standing up. “I am ready to be debriefed.” She said, walking out with her father while Fabian walked behind them. As they got out of there, he pressed the button around the ring on his finger. Hopefully Calvin and the rest would get this on time before anything happens to Michael’s brother.

“I think I need to do some training alone father.” Shelby said as they got to their weapon room. She tried not to flitch at the sight of so many deadly guns and weapons infront of her, hanging on the wall.

“Are you sure?” The father asked.

“Yes, it will make me concentrate beter.” She replied.

“Alright, take all the time you need and then you can come for your debriefing later.” The father replied, patting her on the back before leaving with Fabian. She knew how much Fabian would have wanted to say something and she badly wanted to talk to him as well but she couldn’t.  Right now, she needed to convince her father that whatever the doctors did to her has worked even though she was faking it all.
