Brothers - Episode 14

Isabel had woken up the next morning as early as 5am to be in the kitchen as was her routine

"Was wondering...it sure smells nice in here" Raymond said as he stopped at the door, looking at her, she turned to look at him

" I found some foodstuffs, decided to whip up something"she said

"Yeah maybe we could go into town and get some things later..nothing like a home cooked meal"he said going in 

"Yeah, I'd easily die from take outs".she said focusing on the eggs, that had been all they ate the previous day, she loved Jessica but she couldn't live like that

"Why you up so early..did you want something?".she asked turning to look at him, his eyes had been trained on her in silence...he was wearing a white siglet and black knickers, legs crossed with his uncombed hair looking twisted..she tried to ignore how hot he looked in the morning as she turned back around

They hadn't talked about what happened between them and what was still happening, it was almost like they were trying to move past that and work on their relationships

"Yeah .coffee" he said as if remembering why he came in the first place, he went to get a tea cup and saucer then proceeded to boil water, they worked side by side in the kitchen and she tried to ignore the proximity

"Guess Jess is not an early riser"she observed

"Nope"he said popping the 'p' not looking at her

" you seem so comfortable in the kitchen ".

" I'm just boiling water, if you see me actually cooking, i guess you'd c*m in your pants"he said then turned to look at her, she froze as they stared at each other,  Richard broke the spell by strolling in, he had  a frown on his face, not sparing them a glance, he took out water from the fridge, gulped then sniffed in

"Smells nice.." he came and kissed Isabel as Raymond took his kettle and poured it over his coffee, he took it up and sipped

"Where's miss sunshine?"Richard asked

"In bed"Raymond replied

"I'm thinking you tired her out last night" Richard said with a laugh

"Think what you like, she likes to sleep in" he said stirring his coffee, not sharing the joke..., Jessica was not a morning person and she'd hate you and be grumpy for the rest of the day if you woke her up before her set time

"Well, my baby and I are ready to face the day..." He sat on a stool and pressed his phone while Isabel finished  and set breakfast...

Raymond walked into the verandah to stare out at the scenery. She didn't know how she was going to act normal between them, and he wasn't helping matters.

"So girl I need details of what's been happening"Sandra said as Isabel walked out to the Porche to sit on the chaise

"Girl its just two days"

"Well where are  you guys lodging...".Sandra asked

" We in the middle of nowhere, I have no idea where we are but its been cool so far"Is replied

"You mean your not in a hotel?".

" nope..Jessica totally changed it as is her way, we surrounded by bushes"

"Oh girl, poor you but I guess it'd be fun anyways".

" yeah I guess..I'm thinking this wasn't such a good idea afterall"she said laying down

"What do you mean, its just day two..are you regretting, is Richard not coming around".was he, she realised she wasn't even bothered about that

" That's not the issue ."she sighed as she saw Jess walking out with Richard, they were obviously going hiking, judging by their trainers, backpack and camera, she pulled up her shades wanting to  go with them but changed her mind, she laid back down

"They going hiking.. Jess and Richard.

"You can hang with Raymond then, how fun switching partners "Sandra said, she had no idea how that had a double meaning to it. 

Raymond had been busy inside and Isabel wondered what he was up to, after laying there for a while she decided to go find out...

They had walked for long taking pictures and laughing when Jess caught her shoe and almost face planted on the ground if Richard hadn't caught her on time, they found a hill and sat down to rest

" how come there's nobody else here?"he observed

"Its kinda private property.. he just leases it"

" Oh.."he paused "I think this place is beautiful ".he said looking around

" yeah I think so too..".

"Sad I'm not sharing it with Isabel" he said looking down, she stared at him

"You do love her very much".

" what's not to love..shes everything I want in a woman"he said leaning back

"But she doesn't hike..".Jess said with a chuckle

"you can't have everything, cool we partners in that.." he fist bumped with her"left to those two this trip d be boring.. ".

She chuckled" Raymond is usually more fun but he's been broody lately"she observed

"You would know..I think my bro just has a lot on his sleeves, the company and all"

Jessica was silent" I think he's cheating on me".she decided to confide, who else but his twin brother , maybe he'd know rii . .

But Richard found it funny and burst out laughing, he stopped when he saw she was serious"Raymond..?come on..you know that's not possible "he said

"I know what I'm saying Rich.."

"Did you catch him in the act?"

"You men are quite difficult to catch.."she said

"Well I guess I'm the only one who gets caught.. You got your head mixed up, trust me if my brother were to cheat, he d tell me, he's  that soft hearted, not at all like me.."he said in dismissal

She sighed "Alrii..." She paused "what do you think they are doing.."she asked

"Probably playing a game.. how boring can it be with those two.together."he said, Jessica chuckled and laid back with him, Richard was silently staring up then

" I think we should get back, before it rains ".he said

She observed it was threatening to drizzle, she stood up and dusted as they started on their way back...

Isabel laid her head on Raymond's chest after the act, she trailed on his arm but he stood up and left her on the bed to go look out the window

" you have to break up with him....we can't continue like this.."he suddenly said, and turned to look at her

" I want you to be mine"
