Crime To Love - Episode 20
Jennifer had been very uncomfortable since the day she heard that her beloved Cyril was to be killed. Her problem was in two dimensions in the sense that she loved Cyril so much; she really didn’t want him to die. Chike was her brother and she didn’t want her brother to be implicated and sentenced for any punishment by the law. The only remedy to that situation was reporting to the police thereby making Chike be charged with a case of attempted murder. She was now tensed up; this is the only thing she finds very difficult to tell Chizoba her best friend even when Chizoba was so curious to find out why she was always moody and scared.
She was now in Cyril’s home a night before the proposed killing is to be carried out. She begged to join Cyril to Enugu, for the case; Cyril refused at the first time and later accepted to travel with her. She was happy that at least she would do something to delay their time which would make the assassins go after waiting.

Jennifer looked at the wall clock and the time was still 11:15am she was happy because Chike’s plan would no longer work. After some minutes of searching for the phone Cyril asked Jennifer that he was already late that when they were back, they would search for it very well, she momentarily refused but later she accepted the suggestion. They left for the garage and entered the car. Cyril sped off to get to Enugu before 1:00pm, which was the time for the case.
An ash colored Volvo car with tinted screen was parked along Enugu road at a lonely spot. Inside the car, four boys had been waiting impatiently to terminate Cyril. After sometime, Stagger their main man who was at the steering picked his phone and dialed Onyeka’s number.
“hello guy we never see any brown Toyota Camry along this road since today, wetin I want tell you be say, we have other jobs at hand to handle if we wait for another fifteen minutes and no show we go move from here I don’t tell you. And remember no refund of money” Stagger said pressing the red button.
“After making the call, Flash saw a brown Toyota Camry coming close to them, he informed his men.
“Ibi like say the idiot don dey come ...o...”
Stagger looked through the rear mirror and nodded in affirmation.
“Brother’s it gonna be a clean job”. Stagger smiled
“I think all of you are ready” asked Flash.
When the car drew closer to them flash shifted to the other end of the back seat and straightened his leg. He zipped down his boot and fished out a revolver.

Jennifer’s lifeless body hung before Cyril. His shirt was stained by the blood gushing out of Jennifer’s body. He couldn’t bear the shock of Jennifer’s death in cold blood. Cyril cried and cried for help but it seemed to him he was in a desert because he only heard the echoes of his voice in a very far distance.

Jennifer is not serious, why didnt she tell Cyril, now she is dead
I think it is good jen died because she acted foolishly for not informing Cyril nor police about the plans of his crazy brother
The price for stupid silence she pays
