The entire family was seated quietly waiting for Raguel to speak,

Raguel glanced at Anna who was looking very nervous.

Steven caused a lot of trouble for our family, firstly, Samael soulmate Julia who was also Maria's sister was killed by Steven, and he somehow cast a spell on Maria,

he took Elena and Maria, and kept them under his captivate,

because of the spell he used on Elena and Maria it was very difficult for Samael to find them, after he went after the demons that killed his soulmate

Elena's mother was very special, same as Elena because she is half Angel and half human,

she has the powers of her mother, so connecting a bond with an Angel make us special, Raguel said pointing to himself and Elena

Steven wanted the power that came with Elena that why he cast a spell on her,

he pretended to be her father for so long until Samael showed up one fateful day when I and Elena was captured by demons

But that did not stop Steven even after the spell was removed from Elena And maria, he waged war against us, and we had to fight for our family,

And I think you know what happen next? Raguel said as he looked at Grey

Grey was so dumbfounded, he was really confused he turned to look at his mother

You knew about this? Grey said standing up facing his mother with fury

I don't understand all this mom, why would uncle Beelzebub tell me something that is not true,

what did he intended to gain, Grey said raising his voice

Why did you not tell me? Grey asked his mother

Anna was silent, she was not saying anything,

Mom, answer me, Grey said raising his voice

I was not allowed to tell you, Anna said raising her voice and marching her son's tone

What do you mean by that? Grey asked

Anna did not say anything she was just looking at her son

I'm sorry Grey, I'm so sorry she whispered

Mom, please just tell me

What's going on? Grey asked with pleading eyes

But Anna did not say anything she was struggling to keep herself calm

Wait a minute mom, you knew I was going to connect a bond with an Angel before I did, Grey said remembering the discussion he had with his mother before he met Ariel

What do you know mom? Grey asked again

But Anna remained adamant, as tears were running down her cheek

I wish it's that simple son, I wish it really is,

I can't just say it son

"Why mom"

Anna shook her head, I'm sorry son, I'm really am, Anna said as she stood up and left the living room

Grey wanted to follow her but Ariel quickly held him back

Give her sometime, Ariel said

But.....

Ariel shook her head at Grey, just give her time, she needs to be alone, Ariel urged Grey,

she wrapped her hands around him, and they both stood there for a minute

Let's go upstairs, Ariel said, as she led him upstairs

Lie down, she said as they got to the bedroom you need to rest, she added

Grey wanted to protest but Ariel pulled him down, and Grey held onto Ariel's hand,

"Stay with me" he said softly

I was not going anywhere, Ariel said as she lay down next to Grey,

Grey pulled her close and wrap his hand around her tightly

His head was still spinning from the revelation he got,

he can't believe his uncle will do such a thing and his mother is refusing to tell him what's going on

Just go to sleep, Ariel said, she could feel Grey's distress

We will talk about it in the morning, Ariel added

Grey nodded his head and Ariel placed a kiss on his lips before they both drift off to sleep

The next day, Ariel woke up before Grey, she stared at him for a very long,

she likes the feeling of waking up to her soulmate next to her,

she felt so safe wrapped around his hands, she trail her fingers slowly down his arms,

she could still feel Grey's slight distress,

During the night he got up some many times wanting to get answers from his mother, but Ariel had to stop him from leaving to his mother's room during the night

she sighed softly, she wonders why it was so hard for Anna to answer her son's questions.

She placed a kiss on his forehead and attempt to stand up from the bed, but Grey held onto her tightly

Where are you going to? He murmured softly

To have a bath, Ariel said smiling at Grey who has not opened his eye's

Don't go yet, I love it when you stare at me, Grey said

Ariel raised her eyebrow and chuckle softly,

I really don't know how you always know that I'm staring and yet you claim to be sleeping

I was sleeping, Grey said as he opened his eyes to look at Ariel, he smiled at her

But I can always tell, he added

"Good morning", he said

Good morning, Ariel said with a smile

How was your night? Ariel asked

Not good, Grey replied, he knows there was no reason to lie to Ariel about his night, he knows she could feel his emotions

Ariel nodded her head in understanding

I don't know why she is been reluctant, Grey said
We are no longer in the demon's zone, so she can speak freely here,

I don't just know what or should I say who is keeping her from saying anything, Grey said

We don't really know what's she's going through, from yesterday I saw she did not really like keeping secret from you,

but there is just something stopping her from saying it Ariel said, remembering the way Anna looked yesterday

Maybe she does not care about me, Grey said

Don't say that, you and I knows your mother loves you, maybe she is trying to protect you, Ariel said

From what exactly, I'm a grown man and I can protect and take care of myself, Grey said

That cannot stop a mother from worrying, Ariel pointed out

Grey just sigh softly, as he let the issue slide,

Ariel made another attempt to get up from the bed but Grey still held her tightly

I need to have my bath, Ariel said smiling

Grey grumbled something, that Ariel did not really hear clearly

You can join me if you want, Ariel whispered

Her statement got Grey's attention, he sat up straight quickly

Really? Grey said with an excitement tone

"Yes" Ariel said smiling at Grey's reaction

Expect you don't want to, Ariel said

"No way" I want this, Grey said standing up and pulling Ariel along with him to the bathroom and shut the door behind them

Ariel was feeling shy all of a sudden, she did not even know why she said those word, it just came out on their own

Grey looked at Ariel and he could see she was looking tense

You can still change your mind, Grey said softly,

You can have your bath first and I will have mine later, Grey added as he made attempt to open the door but Ariel held his hand stopping him from leaving

I want this, she whispered softly

Grey smiled at her, as he took a step backward so he could remove his clothes

Ariel watched him as he removed his shirt, her eye's roam around his chest, and she had to play with her hands to stop her from trailing her fingers down his chest,

she looked up and meet Grey's eyes who was watching her with a smirk on his face

Ariel averted her eyes and blushing softly, she took a deep breath before she removed her clothes

They were both standing in front of each other with no clothes on,

Grey let his eye's roam around Ariel's body, his eyes met Ariel's who was blushing

Are you feeling uncomfortable? Grey asked

"No" Ariel whispered

"Come here"

Grey said as Ariel took a step closer to Grey, he wrapped his hands around her waist, and kiss her softly,

Ariel kissed back, and equally wrapped her hands around his neck, as she pushed their body together more closely and she could feel the body heat radiating from him,

Grey dared to pull the kiss deeper, but this time Ariel did not pull back,

she followed Grey's lead and Grey slow down the kiss, and placed a soft kiss on her lips before he pulled back

"You did well" he said with heavy breath

Really?

"Yes" Grey said as he kissed her one last time, before they fully separate

Grey turned and put on the shower, and Ariel saw the marks on his back again,

it made her really angry, that Grey's uncle was responsible for the most of the marks on his back,

she step closer to Grey and run her fingers over his scars and placed soft kisses on them, before they both washed themself up and existed the bathroom

They both head downstairs after they put on their clothes and head downstairs afterwards

Their entire family were seated in the living room and Grey's eye's connected with his mother, he could see the sorrow and pain in her eyes

Grey averted his eyes from his mother and settled next to Ariel on the couch

Anna felt as if a knife was pierced to her chest, as her son refused to met her eye's

She stood up and left the living room,

Grey watched her leave but he did not try to stop her,

he was still angry with her, but he also felt sorry for her, because he knows she is in pain, he wished his mother could share what is going on.

The entire family eat their breakfast in silence, but Anna was not present, and it made Grey worried,

After breakfast, Grey head to his mother's room, he knocked softly before he opened the door

He saw his mother seated on her bed with tears rolling down her face

Grey, she whispered stretching out her hand for her son

Grey took her hands and sat next to her, she rested her head on his shoulder
