“We have tracked his location, it's down town in a basement that was previously used for cement making” the detective informed me.

“Don't you think this will be dangerous?, What if Essa get hurt?, I can't afford that” I complained

“She'll be fine, I'll get my boys to get her out of there before we engage in any shoot out with the guy”

“Okay, I'll trust you on that. Shall we leave now?” After tracking down the building where Essa was held hostage, I had to stay outside away from the gunshots and wait for the signal before I join them in the building.

Ten minutes after the gunshots had stopped, I was given the signal and when I entered it was Andy I first saw lying in pool of his own blood and then I saw Dae being taken away by the police.

Moving closer to the detective who brought me here, I saw Essa sitting on the floor looking disheveled and sad.

I bent to her level and I removed the dirt in her hair. Her eyes lightened up immediately she saw me.

“I'm sorry you had to go through this Essa, I'm sorry you're paying for my sins. I'm sorry baby” She shook her head.

“It's not your fault Richard, it was never your fault and the best part is that I get to see you and our daughter again” she said

“It's all good, Essa. It's all good”

“I've been thinking a lot and I'm grateful I get to tell you how I feel about you, Richard

I looked into her eyes and thanked God for blessing me with this woman.

“I love you, Richard” she declared and I smiled

“I loved you Essa, I love you and I'll keep on loving you. Thank you for giving me the most amazing daughter in the world, thank you for being my woman”

Holding her tightly, I kissed her forehead and took her into my hands. I stood up and made my way out of the building.

“Into our forever, Richard” she said immediately I placed her into my car.

“Let's get married at our favourite church, have plenty of kids” we both laughed at that. “And fifty years from now, we'll look back and tell everyone around us that it was and still is a good life. Let's go on this magical journey to forever.”

“Your royal highness, it's a pleasure getting to see you tonight” Essa teased me immediately I entered into her room

“My queen, thank you for granting this always away king an entrance” I faked a bow and she laughed at that.

“I'm sorry I'm always away, I can't help it myself. The kingdom needs me”

“You don't need to apologise, Richard. I'm here for you always and forever”

We were joined together in holy matrimony nine months back in front of a little gathering of friends and family. Andy was declared dead after he was taken to the hospital and Dae was jailed for years.

I'm happy that Essa is now happy.

“So, how was your day?” I asked placing my head gently  on her protruding belly before shifting to place my head on her thigh, she was pregnant, six months gone and Rachel can't wait to meet her brother.

“It was cool, yours?”

“Boring and I couldn't wait to get home to do this. I missed you so much”

“I didn't miss you a bit” I lifted my head from her thigh in surprise and she laughed.

“You should have seen the look on your face, you look… cute though”

“At this old age, cute?”

“You'll never be old for me, even when you're seventy, I'll still love you” she declared.

“I love you too my Queen, thank you for giving me this perfect life and a family” I said

“You're my nightmare turned to a blessing”

“Let me tell you a secret”

“Okay, I'm listening” she replied

“The day I came to pick you up as my fake date to my family dinner, I was so stunned at your outfit and look that I thought I'll end up kissing the floor you walk on”

“It was pretty obvious on your face that day” She replied spoiling my surprise

“That was supposed to be the part where you should be surprised, you're just a mood wrecker” I complained

“Stop being such an idiot, Richard”

“Your idiot” I corrected. “I'll kill for you, Vanessa”

“No baby, live for me, for a very long time. Let's live together till forever”

“Till forever, baby” I assured her.
