Ichabod - Episode 22

Harmony felt a sudden movement and opened her eyes, to her dismay, she was the only one in the room, and Ichabod had disappeared. She flushed in embarrassment and adjusted on her seat. She had been so stupid.  What happened to her?

“Damn it!”

She stood up immediately and rushed to her bedroom, closing the door behind her. She flung on her bed, biting her lips.

“Girl why did you do that?”

How in the hell was she going to fix this? What exactly happened to her? Just like that, she had made herself look so stupid. What would Ichabod think of her? That she wanted to take advantage of him? But, she sighed and sat right. The moment was so perfect, she had never felt so close to anyone like that, not even Michael. What Ichabod did for her and her child was special to her but still, she shouldn’t have made an attempt to kiss him. Even though she didn’t actually kiss him, it was like kissing him and him pulling away. Oh boy! That was a blow!

Her phone on the stool beside her rang and she picked it up, It was Vi.

“Hey girl! What’s up? You wouldn’t believe I just got home. I talked to the Netflix guy and I was able to make a new arrangement for us

“She’s fine.” Harmony replied in a low voice.

“Wait, did Michael show up? How was it?”

“No, he didn’t show up. Ichabod saved the day. He acted Michael’s part and everything was beautiful.”

“Oh! Wow! Ichabod is really an angel, right? You gonna tell me everything tomorrow.”

“Something happened Vi.”

“Something happened? Oh my God! Did Michael do something stupid again?”

“No no.” Harmony replied nervously.

“Okay, so what happened?”

She sighed. “Oh, God! It was really bad.” She replied.

“Okay, now you scared me. Who was it?”

Harmony took a sharp breath. “It was Ichabod.”

Vivian burst into laughter, “oh my god! I knew you hired him for a reason! So you actually took a bite off the white man’s banana right?” She giggled.

Harmony gasped. “Jesus! No! Damn! You are so nasty, Vi!”

Vivian sounded a little disappointed. “Oh! Well, that’s a blow. I was looking forward to that. He really is a cute guy. You know there is this thing he does with his eyes anytime he is smiling and…”

“I swear to God if you don’t shut up….” Harmony threatened.

“Oh, sorry, well, spill it then!”

Harmony took in a deep breath and shut her eyes as she confessed. “I attempted to kiss him.”

Vi gasped, “oh my God…you kissed him! Go, girl!”

“No, I attempted to kiss him. Can you just listen to me for a second?”

“I’m sorry come on. Wait, attempt, I don’t understand.”

“I don’t either. We were having this time and it was so sweet and I just got caught up and…” she sighed, holding a hand to her forehead. “I just leaned in closer to him and….

“Oh my God! Did  you catch a foul breath?”

“No damn it! I swear if  you say one more thing, I will come right there and strangle you to death.”

“Okay sorry, I’m sorry, just stop all this suspense and tell me!”

“He disappeared.”

There was a silence as she said that.

“Hello Vivian…”

“Wait, he just vanished?”

“Yea, he ran away.”

“Oh my God..baby he’s a virgin.”

“Seriously Vivian….”

“No, I mean it but, oh dear, poor you! You must be going out of your mind right now….”

“Yea, I am, what do I do? I don’t know how to face him again. I am so ashamed Vivian.”

Vivian sighed. “Ichabod is really cool, he’s cute and sexy as hell. You only attempted to kiss him and he ran, what if you had pulled down his pants? I would have done that you know.”

“You are not helping a friend.”

“Okay sorry.  Let’s see what happens tomorrow.”

“So what do I do when I see him?”

“Act like nothing happened.”

“But it’s gonna be so awkward.”

“Yea, you made it so, now deal with it unless you fire him.”

“That will be mean.”

“Yea, so, just act like nothing happened.”

“Okay thanks, see you tomorrow.”

“Catch ya.”

Harmony threw the phone on the bed and sighed. She really shouldn’t have tried to kiss him.

So guys, these days have been so busy for me so I apologise for my lateness, I am practically so tied up with my personal stuff but I will keep posting on every break i get. So ladies o, confession time, have you tried kissing someone who vanished before? LOl. I am thinking about it right now and I just realised I get plenty people i wish i have kissed. Stupid crush.
