Jamila - Episode 19

We continued walking that I got tired, where are we going please” I asked but she just hushed me telling me that we are almost there

We got to a place that I saw one big gully that we have to pass through, you don’t expect me to enter into that” I asked

“Yea, your Dad is inside”

I scoff

“What will my Dad be doing inside”

On a second thought I wanted to follow her inside but I felt that the more I follow her the more I feel weak to struggle like life is being sniffed out of me

“Baby Jam, please don’t go”

I hate being called that but the voice seems awfully familiar, I turned to see my mom crying and begging me not to leave her

“Don’t listen to her” the lady voice I am following ordered

“But she is my Mom”

“Not anymore, let’s go see your dad first”

I took a step further but the voice filled around me calling my name, I turned immediately running towards my mom

“I feel like this woman is deceiving me”

“Noooooooooo” the lady voice shouted but I care less, I love my mom

Its 2:30am yet I couldn’t sleep, I walked towards Jamila and felt her temperature.

. It seemed awfully cold, I placed my hands on her heart and I felt her heart beat reducing and immediately I saw her hands moving

I wanted to shout but Mom stood beside me observing what I was doing, I bet she couldn’t sleep too

. When she observed what I was doing and felt Jam’s temperature going low she started calling her name immediately crying 

She was crying and shaking her vigorously begging her not to leave, I rushed out immediately to get the doctor but on coming back I saw my Mom and Jamila hugging and crying

“That’s a miracle” I shouted happily and rushed to their side. The doctor came to us and checked her 

After the examination he nod happily “She is good to go, I wonder what kept her this long. Just allow her to rest and you can go with her”

I hugged the doctor happily, “thank you doctor” I muffled and he pats my shoulder “You are welcome son”

“My baby” was all my mom continued muttering while hugging her. I smiled as I see tears of joy streaming down her eyes

I joined them in the hug “Welcome back baby” I said patting her head

She smiled at that and returned my hug

“Where is everybody?”

“Baby its 3:00am, don’t worry they will soon be here” My Mom assured her

I took my phone and sent message to my brothers and ofcus Sylvia, I don’t have the number of those guys that usually come with her but I bet she will tell them if she receives the message

With that accomplished I sat down to gist with Mom and Jamila who seems hale and hearty as if she was not the one that brought us to the hospital

My phone beamed, I have not been able to sleep since I came back from the cyber café with Carl and Styxx. The guys slept in my house because we finished late but I was the one that forced them to sleep over

I picked up my phone lazily to know who will be disturbing by that time. I typed in my password furiously when I found out the message is from Kingzee

“Baby Jam Is awake”

“Ahhhhhhhhhhh” I shouted happily and ran straight to the guys room

“Jamila is awake, Jamila is awake” I continued shouting as I wake them up

They were acting sleepy at first but on hearing Jamila they woke up alert

“What did you just say” Styxx asked curiously 

“Your baby is awake” I shouted again

He stood up immediately and started wearing his cloth

“Where are you going” I asked the same time with Carl

“To see Jamila” he answered busy wearing his cloths

“Am coming with you” Carl answered and started wearing his own cloths

“Chill guys, its just 3;15am” I said showing them my phone for them to see the time

They ignored me and continued wearing their cloths; I guess I have to go wear mine. I rushed to my room and wore my plain trousers and orange flower top

We got to the hospital exactly 4:30am, Styxx is a full time rough driver.  Since I did not die that day, I will not die again.

The gentle Styxx is gone, he drove like mad; I nudged Carl to stop him but he ignored me

I sat down praying silently in my heart that nothings happens to us

We entered the hospital to meet her brothers and wives chattering happily, when did this entire people reach the hospital or they flew down here; Maybe they slept here I concluded. Carl gave me the I told you look; everybody was very happy to see us. The atmosphere was filled with joy and happiness; they hugged us when we entered, the family is indeed a happy one

“Where is Jamila” I asked when I have searched frantically for her but couldn’t see her

“She went to ease herself” a thick baritone voice answers 

“Who owns that sexy voice” I turned to where I heard the voice and it belongs to Brad

“Oh how much I waited for him to make a move but he never did, Jamila constant story of how he likes me made me to continue waiting turning down the advice from Jamila to go to him but I continued playing the holy girl until he got married

That still hurts, ladies please if you love a man walk up to him biko, you cannot come and be dying in silence #lol#

“Sylvia” I heard Jamila shout on seeing me

We hugged tight as everybody in the room laughed at our display of emotions

“I missed you baby girl”

“I miss you too”

He left me and hugged Carl, Styxx stood there waiting to hug her but got the shock of his life when Jamila looked at him surprised 

“Sylvia, who is he”

“Ehhh” I shouted surprised at the question she asked

Styxx stood there stone white
