"She died?" Anna asked

"Yes, she died" Joseph said "she died after making sure she broke every hardened heart in me"

"But you shouldn't have mourn her this far. Seven years is pretty much, you should have......" Joseph cut her off

"Let's say I was madly in love with her. Her love made a fool out of me and turned me into a puppet" Joseph said with tears rolling down his cheek and there was silence for some minutes.

"Why did you bring me here?" Anna finally broke the silence

Joseph stood still and looked straight into her eye. He had proposed to Sasha here, so he was ready to have a new beginning, a new start. He had wallowed in darkness for seven years, now is the right time to live his life the way he wants it. Why exactly did he bring Anna here? He had just met her some few days ago. He wasn't sure whether it was the right thing to do or she was the right person he needs, but he didn't care. He was ready to take the chances, he is fully prepared to give her a trial. She had looked a lot like Sasha, he was not sure whether Sasha was back in form of Anna, or Anna was an heaven sent angel to remove him from the darkness overshadowing him.

Joseph remembered Sasha last message to him 'we will meet again'

Has she resurfaced again as Anna? Different questions kept popping in his head. Anna cleared her throat to bring him back from his lost thought.

"Am sorry" he apologized instantly "I want to start a new memory with you" he said but her leg stiffened, it was like she hadn't seen it coming, like she hadn't expected it. 
"This was where my first love memory Sasha had began, I had kissed her here" he continued but Anna seems so awkward.

She had loved him also, she had tripped for him since the day she had seen his photograph

. Her mum had shown her about a month ago and since then she had fell for his good looks, those mighty pink lips. She had liked him very much, now meeting him some days ago, he had been more handsome than in the picture. She became short of words cause everything seems fast, she already knew where the conversation was leading too. So she just played along, acting like she hadn't expected it. Her mum had predicted it earlier.

"Anna, what if Joseph propose?" She had said but Anna had waved it off. She hadn't expected a proposal cause they just met days ago but if he actually proposed, she would be glad. So she zero the proposal and expected him to ask her out.

This was already going according to the plan of her mum, Joseph was already saying sweet things. And she knows what is going to happen at the end of sweet talks.

"I want to start a new memory with you here, I want to forget the memories of Sasha remaining in my head" he added but she didn't say a word.

Joseph was already getting frustrated at the silence of Anna. He has exhausted all the strategies he had practiced at home. Anna was very glad at the turn out of event but she hadn't showed it, she didn't want to express it.

Something suddenly popped up into his head, an idea he hadn't even done Sasha before. His mind began to wrestle, after a long thought he agreed to use the idea but something in him told him not to. Mere looking at Anna, he knew she liked him for it was very obvious but he just didn't know why she was pretending.

'I don't seriously think I can understand girls' he thought

After minutes of troubled mind, Joseph finally result to the idea. He knelt down with a leg, that was something he had never done before, even with Sasha. Anna was so shocked cause she hadn't expected it.

Joseph knew that his action had marked the beginning of a new memory in the Trevor garden. He knew that will be the beginning of a new dawn in his life. He wished old Trevor can be here to see him like he was when he was with Sasha. But unfortunately, the old lad is dead, he had died two years ago and had willed the cottage and the garden to Joseph since he had nobody. Joseph had being his only friend, Joseph would even visit him at times mostly at weekend. He had taken Joseph like a son and a friend until he died of an ailment. Joseph suddenly wished he was here to see his new girl.

"I love you" he said softly

Anna stood still, she didn't respond. She pretended like she hadn't heard him and that got Joseph more frustrated.

"I love you" he repeated

And Anna began to look around as if she took no notice of him.

"Am sorry, did I hear you say something?" She asked mockingly

"I said I love you"

"I can't hear you" she said pretending as if she hadn't heard him and Joseph grew more impatience. He had planned such a lovely atmosphere, so he didn't want to ruin it now.

"I love you" he said again but this time, he screamed.

"I love you too" she said and gave him a wink

Anna helped him up, Joseph became so short of words. She was just like Sasha.

'Maybe that was what drew Anna closer to my heart' he thought

"Can I kiss you?" He asked her shyly. He began to wonder why he had asked her that question.

. What if she said No! He would be so embarrassed. All Joseph wanted to do was to go clean and slow. He hadn't want to rush things.

"My lips are yours" she said and she licked her lips to make it so glossy.

Joseph didn't even hesitate. He kissed her passionately and felt a breeze of relief soothing his body. He had left the world of darkness and had been reborn into the world of light. He felt happy and at the same time sad. He was about to forget Sasha and any memory of her remaining in his head. He knew it won't be so easy but he was so determined to give it a try. She had made a huge impact in his life, she was an angel sent from above. She had craved a symbol in Joseph heart, a symbol that is about to be replaced by someone else love.

'I will never forget Sasha Lincoln, she had taken a huge impact in my life and I am forever grateful. She is indeed a Messiah' Joseph thought
