My Priceless Jewel - Episode 20

"Arfaat! What the hell are you talking about?". Mai kunu asked shocked....."Don't tell me you denied the baby is yours?" She asked again, as tears rolled down her cheeks.

      Alhaji Abbas, Hajiya Raliya and Hajiya Azumi all stood at the doorway, stunned and suprised at what arfaat is saying. Alhaji Abbas was super shocked, remembering all what he did to her, what if she died? Without him asking for her forgiveness and telling her how much he love her.

"Mama, lis.....". A very sound slap landed on arfaat right cheek, and another again on his left. "How dare you arfaat! How could you do a thing like that? What has gotten into you? Was this the type of training i gave you? Am disappointed in you arfaat, i really am". Mai kunu said, shaking arfaat as tears of sadness keep rolling down her cheeks...."she's gone now arfaat, she's gone. Are you happy?"

         "Mama pleas..."

"Shut up Arfaat, shut up!"

"Calm down please my child, this is a family issue; let's all be patient and see how juwairiyyah is". Hajiya azumi said in a shaky voice.

      Mai kunu shoved Arfaat aside, and sat by the bedside, holding Juwairiyyah's hand.

"Juwai, wake up please; if Arfaat doesn't love you or your baby, we do juwai. Please wake up."

        She held juwairiyyah's hand so tight, praying silently in her heart for juwai

"Y..ya..aa...arf...aat". Juwairiyyah said, her voice barely audible.

    "Am here lily". Arfaat said, rushing to her side and grabbing juwai's hand from mai kunu...."am right here by your side lily."

"Stay with me, don't ever let go". She said again, Squeezing arfaat's hands in hers...."don't ever let go, don't ever let go."

        "I won't lily, I'll stay by your side forever". Arfaat said, her hands on his lips; not minding that she's not his wife anymore, nor minding the presence of their parents.

Mai kunu moved forward to separate them, but Hajiya Raliya stopped her; shaking her head...."let them be please."

  Juwairiyyah stayed in the hospital for three days, and all those days; arfaat never left her side, they cried together, remembering there little princess. They all forgot what they have in mind together, spent every single moment together, falling inlove and inlove again. Arfaat knows, that he loves juwai morethan anything, and he can do anything just to get her back, and he will. 

They all sat silently in the big sitting room, as juwai narrated every single detail about her relationship with Arfaat, she told her parents that she lied, shr lied when she told them that arfaat raped her. Arfaat also gave his own side of the story, and their parents listened attentively. Hajiya Azumi couldn't help but burst out laughing.

    "You children are silly, what type of game was this?"

Arfaat was shy, so shy that he stooped so low and joined Juwairiyyah in her silly game.

    "Am disappointed in you son, juwai is still a kid, you shouldn't have done what you did". Mai kunu said angrily.

"But mama i..."

           "Don't mama me please". She said, a harsh look on her face.

"Alhaji, please and please, am begging you, forgive his insolence. He's still a kid and its my fault for not training him matured enough. Please forgive his silliness."

     "Look Hajia, Juwai is the one at fault here. She started the game. Let bygones be bygones and lets all face the reality". Said Alhaji Abbas.

"We all pray that you both get the best suitors ever, but; you shouldn't try a game like this anymore.

"As salaamu alaikoom". A very deep and husky voice salaamed at the doorstep.

      "Wa alaikumus salaam". Arfaat said, walking to the door.

"OMG, Yaa Junayd!". Juwai said happily and ran towards him, giving him a very warm and tight hug....."i missed you so much yayanah, you left me all alone, i creid everyday, wanting to see you, to hear your voice; but you never cared to call or ask about me. You left without saying goodbye. What did i do to you to deserve this?" She asked crying so hard.

"Shhhhh..... Its okay jewel, am back now. And we'll be together forever."

      A very sharp feeling pierced Through Arfaat's chest, who is this? And why are they acting like re united lovers?
