Overcomer - Episode 18

Omotola's POV

Mercy called me in the afternoon and told me about the latest, I was happy and thankful for her help, but I was also scared.

She said am sure that no matter what happen, I will overcome, I told her thank you and went back to my hostel.

I prayed that night, like never before, my roommates where so shocked, I made a vow to God, that if he helps me out of this situation, I will do anything I can to stop my stepfather from sleeping with me.

The next morning, which was the last day of the fast, Mercy called me, so we could go to Mr William's office, he gave me a form to fill started i renounced lesbianism, he asked mercy the day I gave my life to Christ, I remember o wrote it on my diary February 21st,sign here when you are done, he cross checked it , that's all you can go now, Mercy pls tell all the acting prefect to come for screening by 10am, he said

Ok sir, we thanked him almost kneeling down, then we left.

Don't miss today's prayer meeting, Mercy said as we where going

Later that day, all the acting prefect assembled in the PTA hall for screening, I was really scared, What if Principal come, she might embarrass me, The vice principal, they where 3 in number where sitted on the high table with some teachers, house mistresses and senior boarding house mistress, The VP Administration (Mr Nwokebelu) Announced that the principal wont be around for some reason.

I was a bit relieved, we where called based on how we seated in the hall, I was the last person, the screening went on and on, some people where disqualified by their dressing, some where insulted, I was really scared , it was time for my own. When I walked up to them, they where looking tired and exhausted, Mrs Oreoluwa said they shouldn't bother asking me, but the Vp's insisted.

Mrs Nwajuo (Vp Special duties) was the first to talk, what do you love about this school?, I love the student - teacher relationship, the efforts teachers put to give their students the best

I will ask you the direct opposite of her question, Mr Nwokebelu said, I did like the level of bullying in the school mostly from Seniors to juniors. I said

Mr Kelvin (Vp Academics) laughed, how can you help solve the problem you just said, I paused a little,  I will create a good relationship between myself and Juniors, give them listening ears and report any form of bullying to the authorities, and ensure adequate punishment is given.

We have come to the end of the screening you can all go, my questions was totally different from others, everyother peers where asked questions pertaining to their post except me, they where not smiling at all.

I passed there to the prayer meeting, it was afew minutes after 5 already, after the prayers, Mercy asked me how the screening went, I told her everything, don't bother yourself she said

I felt the need to go to Stephanie's place, I went to my hostel to freshen up and went there,  when I got there , I knocked and she opened, she was hyperexcited to see me

Stephanie's POV

Look who we have here, I screamed happily seeing Tola, I know you will come back, let's go inside,  you look good Everytime that's why I love you, I said

She smiled, standing at the entrance, we don't need to go inside she said, I dragged her inside before she could say another word, I started planting kiss all over her,  stop that right now she said.

Why did you report me to the Principal, she said, I smiled that is not a problem, I can put an end to that if you do what I want, that is why we haven't taken it to the disciplinary committee yet, she said.

I didn't come here to do that nonsense, and I didn't come here to beg you, because. I know I have taken the right step, I only came here to advise you to follow my new path. She said

Sweetheart, who is teaching you all this, come on loosen up, life is short, let's enjoy it, I said holding her waist with one hand , I was about touching her boobs, when she shouted GET THE BEHIND ME SATAN,  she ran out, i was really shocked. The next day, I went to miss Esan's and told her to take the case to the disciplinary committee, I have given her enough time.

TOLA'S POV

It was on a Friday, the Principal called me to her office, by Monday I will be transferring this case to the disciplinary committee, why don't you do what Stephanie want and be free, it is very simple, don't disagrace yourself and family, I also heard you are an acting Prefect.she said

Ma , go ahead and transfer it, I will accept whatever the end result it, but going back to my sinful desires, never, I wont, i will never do that again. I am a new creature in Christ, my old ways are in the past now.

She laughed at me mockingly and said, Jesus people, let me see how that Jesus will save you, get out of my office, she said angrily.

On Monday morning, I was called by the disciplinary committee, I wonder why it was this fast, that means she submitted it immediately I left her office that day.
