Seven years later...
"Baby you promised no more phone calls," Reginah complained snatching the phone from Jayson..

"I am sorry my love, don't be mad..." Jayson held his ears showing her some puppy eyes...

"Okay as long as you promise to rub my tummy later..."
"I promise my love.." He held her tight in his arms...

Even thou they had been married for four years, he still never believed he finally got the love of his life back... Everyday in the morning he would pinch himself to be sure he wasn't dreaming...
In seven years many things took place...Mary and Carlos got married one year after Maggie and Greg's wedding and had two children... Well Patience and Mike went their separate ways and none of them was yet to get married... Malcolm and Ben became business partners and owned a Successful textile company not forgetting they were happily married with one kid respectively...

Patience begun her fashion house two years ago, it was not yet successful but it was promising...

Mike and Jayson also became business partners and built the most successful motorbike company in the country... They basically made new bikes and offered training to beginners...

Reginah became the best female rider in the country

. She competed in many races in and outside the country where she won many awards. For the past seven years Her and Jayson  were only focused on their dreams but it was time to begin a family... Diana also owned a successful bakery and was engaged to a tycoon businessman. Well Isabelle got better and opened up a foundation where she helped  girls with similar condition...

"Honey, is the food ready???" Reginah asked.
"Yes love, everything is going on fine. You just rest and I will wake you up when everyone arrives...Reginah nodded and headed upstairs.

Reginah was busy sleeping when she heard some noises downstairs...
"Love the guests are here..."
"I am so tired do I have to wake up. this baby is tiring me up.."
"Do you want some quickie, it will make you feel  better.." Jayson sent her a naughty smile wiggling his eyebrows...

"Naughty baby, maybe later..If the baby will still want it.."

Reginah was six months pregnant and the experience was traumatizing. She was always tired, backaches, swollen feet, weird craving etc...

At times Jayson would go crazy when he is asked to go buy something at night but he always understood her...

Jayson helped his wife downstairs where they found Carlos and his wife, Greg and his wife waiting for them..

"The pregnant rider is here..." Carlos teased hugging her..
"Don't call me that..."
"And you look like a baby hippo..." Carlos rubbed her tummy...

"Brother-in law don't insult my wife.. You don't want me giving you a bruised face.." Jayson placed his hand on her shoulder...

"Okay sir..." Carlos lifted his hands up in defence..

Reginah hugged everyone and they all went outside to have some drinks and food...

"Dear, are you still feeling weak???" Maggie confirmed.
"Yeah but Jayson is always there to help me.."
"That's great, both my pregnancies were hell. I don't want to go there..." Mary shook her head looking at her two pretty babies playing around their father...

"I wish I could also have kids, I wanna be a mother so bad..." Maggie could help but cry, for seven years she had tried having a baby but nothing.

They had visited the doctors all over the world, tried all natural remedies but nothing seemed to work...
Over the years she has been so stubborn, dramatic and scandalous but Greg stood by her side...

"We are here for you and soon you gonna have a baby...The doctors said there is nothing wrong so don't lose hope..." Reginah consoled her.
"And we will be with you all the way.." They all hugged each other like the old times as the men were busy looking at them.

"I am so happy that Reginah and Mary are always there for my wife. She really needs emotional support..." Greg stated sipping his whisky..
"Don't worry those three will always be there for each other.." Jayson tapped his shoulder.
"Don't I just love my wife but when she was pregnant I could barely sleep. Man it was like I was also pregnant..." Carlos retorted and Jayson agreed with him,  "Tell me about it. Your sister wakes me up at 2am to go bring her very awkward things. One day she woke up and told me to go get her fish, I told her it is in the fridge she was like I need a fresh one from the lake. Where was I to get a fresh fish from the lake at 2am, brother I spent the whole night travelling around town.."

They were all laughing when Mike, Malcolm, Ben, Patience, Anne, Michelle, Brad and his Caucasian girlfriend arrived...

"WhatsApp people, where is the pregnant mama???" Mike shouted greeting the boys.
"She is there with the ladies..." Jayson said pointing at them...

Anne, Michelle , Patience and the Caucasian girl hugged the boys and went to join the girls...

"Hey, you are Brad's girlfriend???' 'Mary asked.
"Yes I am Innna. "She replied shyly...
"Nice to meet you, this Reginah his ex..." Mary pointed out dryly making Reginah slap her arm while the other girls looked at her shockingly..

"Sorry, don't mind her..." Reginah beamed.
"It's okay, he talks about you sometimes and how much you loved him but he messed up..." Innna explained not looking offended..

"I hope he doesn't mess up with you too because that guy only God knows.." Mary rolled her eyes. Since Brad broke Reginah's heart, he was always on her bad side of the book...

"Mary don't scare the girl away, Brad is a good guy..." Reginah stated when she noticed things were almost getting out of line...

"Our wives join us," Carlos requested and each girl went to sit beside her man but everyone was surprised when Patience and Mike held hands..

"Are you two together???'' Mary asked and Patience nodded shyly making all girls to scream excitedly as the guys placed their hands on their ears...

"Enough ladies..."The girls went silent," So we are here to celebrate my sister and my best friend baby shower as they expect their first baby..We were used to seeing them on tv, magazines, ads and even listening them on radio and our question was always this.

"Cheers," They all said lifting their glasses of champagne up apart from the pregnant woman who had a glass of mango juice...

Jayson suddenly stood up," Friends I wanna say thank you for coming after such a short notice.For seven years we were focused on fulfilling our dreams and truth be told we achieved more than we imagined. And so all I wanna say is thank you to my beautiful wife for making me the happiest guy in the whole world. Damn, you all know what have been through with this girl.." Everyone laughed at the last statement as Jayson took her hand.

"But all in all it was worth it..Thank you for always standing by me. For always holding my hand when I thought things wouldn't go well and for trusting when Mike and I were busy working late...So here is two tickets to Malaysia where we are going to have a two-week vacation. And I promise no phonecalls..."

Reginah stood up, kissed her husband passionately before she was wrapped in his arms, "I love my Jay.."

"I love you my Renah.."

That done, Mike and Brad went to their knees at the same time and proposed to their girlfriends who couldn't hold their tears back as they said yes.. Indeed it was a special day...

Then the other women got the tickets behind their chairs and handed them to their wives...It seemed everyone was going to Malaysia...

"So ladies how was the surprise???"Malcolm asked..
"We love you.." The ladies said in unison..

After everyone had finished having their drinks, they begun checking up on each other... The kids playing around...
Brad was at a corner in a phonecall when Reginah approached him.

"Congratulations.." She said when he ended the call.
"Ohh hey Riri, you scared me.Thank you and you too since very soon. You gonna be a mother.."
"Thank you too. Because if it weren't for you I wouldn't have gotten the best husband in the whole world.."
"I am glad you are happy and took me back as a friend. I hope I find happiness in Innna too.."
"You will..."

And they hugged...
