The girls were busy in Maggie's room getting there make up done while Reginah and Maggie were dealing with the bride's dress...

"Honey, are you sure about your decision concerning Brad???"

"Yeah, I am and I hope I am making the right choice..."

After Reginah wa done helping Maggie, she begun getting ready quickly since the Mamas had begun singing downstairs....

"Girls are you done???We are leaving in twenty minutes time.." Carlos bossed,"My gad Siz you ain't ready???"

"I was helping the bride get in her dress..." Reginah defended.

"Okay, read her this note it's from her husband to be..."

When Reginah was reading Maggie the note, she couldn't help but feel jealous... She always prayed and wished for a man like that but all she got was heartbreak...

Life threw her lemons and instead of making lemonade she ate them..

Tears were balancing on Maggie's eyes as she tried fanning herself..

"It's good to cry honey but not now you will ruin your make up.."Reginah advised as Maggie mum covered her face with the veil while speaking blessings on her marriage...

In the church the bridegroom was fidgitating, waiting impatiently for the bride...

The entrance to the church by the bridesmaids and groomsmen was funny and crazy...

The men showed off their dance moves in their tuxedos whiles girls swayed their hips in their maroon sweetheart chiffon long dress..

Mike, Carlos, Jayson, Malcolm and Ben were the groomsmen whereas Reginah, Mary, Patience, Anna and Michelle were the bridesmaids.

There is nothing fun like your friends supporting you in your big day...

As Maggie walked down the aisle she could feel her insides churn and her knees shaking. Greg on the other hand tried so hard to fight the tears that tried so hard to embarrass him...

He couldn't believe he was finally making Maggie hers..

Everything was going on fine, Brad was busy looking at Reginah who was busy admiring the couple exchanging vows...

She was happy for Maggie and she wished nothing less for her and the one she would marry... Finally they were announced Mr and Mrs Gathimu as they danced their way out of church.

The most awaited after party finally arrived as everyone made a circle and begun dancing around...

The bride and the groom were in the circle dancing and people followed their led.

After that everyone begun doing their own thing. Some eating, others drinking, others dancing and the rest were just seated...

Reginah was at a corner ogling at Jayson who was busy telling jokes to the newly weds when Brad tapped her shoulder.

"Hey???''

"What do you want Brad???" Reginah asked coldly turning around..

"I wish I said I am okay but you rejected my proposal infront of everyone.."

"Not everything is fixed with a ring..."

"But I am sorry and I want you back... Maybe next year would have been us getting married..."

"Brad do you remember how we used to argue, fight but get back together regardless???"

"Yes..."

"Do you remember when I got kidnapped you were at Isabelle's??? When I was about to get shot??? When I won the first time ??? When I won the second time??? When I learned how to ride????"

"Yes..."

"You weren't there."

Suddenly it dawned at him that when she always needed him he wasn't there but Jayson was...

"I came in Italy and heard you were there but when I came looking for you, you were busy kissing a girl..."

"That was you?? the girl who run away..." Brad rubbed his face nervously...

"Yeah...but it's a good thing since it made me realize we can't be... You just love me so much and I need someone who will always be there and not run away when our love is threatened."

"Don't do this," Brad took her hands," I love you so much. I care about. That day when I saw how you looked into Jayson's eyes during your race at Sakwa I felt like the intruder...I felt hurt how nobody noticed me and that's why I decided to leave..."

"You would have fought for what you claimed was yours but thank you because you made me realise you ain't the one I wanna spend my life with..."

"Please I will change," Brad knelt holding her legs, "I can't live without you..."

"Please Riri, what about the things we have been through????"

"I am sorry Brad, it's goodbye.."

Brad begun crying and pleading her so loud that he attracted everyone's attention...

"Bye.." Reginah pushed him aside.

Brad stood up and walked away pushing the waiter that walked past him...

After few minutes of weird tension everything went back to normal and it was time for her and Jayson to give their speeches...

"Hello guys, I know I am supposed to be talking about the newly weds but I just wanna say something... I fell in love with a very good man but as fate has it, we didn't last long... We were separated for years but his love for me kept him moving whereas I moved on... I  thought I made the right choice until I realised when it was too late that it was always him... I dated and loved another because I was mad at him, because he showed me love when I lost all hopes, he made me feel alive when for years I had been dead but I never really loved him. I loved who he was not what I wanted..."

Their friends were now looking at Jayson who was shocked beyond imagination. He just sat there staring at her not believing the words coming out of her mouth...

"Jayson," She continued with a wet face,"I know I should have waited for, I know i should have trusted my love for you but I was mad.

Everyone was now astonished, their mouths wide open..

After the big confession, Jayson walked towards her and hugged her...
He could feel every nerve in his body suddenly flew at one spot..

His face pressed against hers and stared at her eyes for a moment before their mouths were locked onto each other...

They were both lost in the moment when then were disrupted with claps from the crowd...

"You will always be my Renah..."

"I loved you too my Renah..."

PS: Don't judge how things turned out. My opinion is Brad wasn't the right soul mate for Reginah..
