I should have thought about this better.

I really should have.

There are papz everywhere and the media is trying to get pictures of everybody.

But it's okay, seeing as I'm sure no one will recognize me.

I'm not as thin as I use to be, neither am I as naive, I have short pixie hair now, a pierced nose and if you look closely old eyes.

I'm dressed in a burgundy gown, short in the front with a flowy train in the back and its off shoulder.

When I saw the gown inside Jules's studio I had to have It, seeing as it is the favorite colour of him who will not be thought about this evening.

I've got 6 inches silver heels on, seeing as my leg no longer betrays me, around my neck are blood coloured rubies , I look like a million bucks.

I take a seat in the back and almost cry as I watch the movie which Aroofa starred in.

It's a romantic themed genre about a farmboy who falls in love with an heiress.

It was wonderful, seeing my sister on screen is the most awesomemest thing ever.

When the movie is done I get into my limo, which takes me directly to the after party.

After I left the house on the hill, I began using the funds Kane put into an account for me.

I moved everything out of that account and shut it down so that he couldn't find me that way.

It's been great, knowing that his foresight is what have been taking care of me.

When I get to the party i see that this one is invitation only and I wince, well, that's a disappointment.

"What are you doing standing here all by your self?" A Male voice asks and I turn to see a very handsome man standing there, he looks familiar and I guess he must be an actor.

"Are you talking to me?" I ask, looking behind me but I can see only people talking and thronging towards the door.

"Yes, you" He says, I look behind him and some papz are glancing our way.

Not good.

"Uh, I need to get into the party but I don't have an invite" I say and he grins.

"Good thing then, you can come with me" He says, extending his hand, I grab it with only a slight hesitation before he smiles and leads me inside.

"I'm Yoel by the way" He says as he leads me in.

"I'm Ani" I say and he grins down at me, I find myself grinning back.

I don't know why but he has an easy personality and I find myself relaxing but I immediately tense up when I see Aroofa standing in the middle of the room,she's surrounded by lots of people and she's in a different outfit from the white gown she had on at her premier.

"What?" A voice asks at my ear and I startle, turning to look at Yoel.

"What?"

"You tensed up on me, something made you uncomfortable, what is it?"

"Oh, I'm just trying to hide from some set of persons that's all" I say my eyes wandering and I crack a smile when I see Aroos looking like she wants to be anywhere but there.

They've changed a lot.

I feel tears pushing but I sniff and look away.

"Must be serious, are you going to cry on me?" Yoel asks with a smile and I shake my head.

"No, I'm sorry, something got into my eyes" I say and he smirks again.

"You know what? I will be your wingman, uh? When you see a person you don't want to be seen by you hide behind me, deal?"

I smile gratefully at him and he grabs a champagne flute from a passing waiter.

I sip the bubbly liquid.

I scan the crowd and there's Kevin with Linda, lording it, he's got his hands wrapped around Aroos' s waist and I'm glad that he's still obviously in love with my sister.

Another quick scan shows Anaya with Cash, slow dancing at the end of the crowd and my heart almost stops beating at how similar he looks with Kane.

Kane.

Kane..

Where is he?

I look around the crowd but freeze when my eyes and Cash's connect, he's looking away but his eyes flies back to mine.

"Shit" I say before hiding my face in Yoel's chest.

"Woah, No groping baby girl" He says and I lightly smack his chest, he chuckles.

I like this guy.

I peek again but Cash is talking to Anaya, they've stopped dancing, I heave a sigh of relief.

"Okay, let's get you seated" He says but before he leads me away my body freezes when I see him.

He's seating at a bar, a glass of what is probably whisky in his hands.

Tears bloom in my eyes and they spill, I grip Yoel's hand and he grips mine back.

Oh God I've missed him.

I've missed him so bad, I knew I missed him but I was trying to hold back.

"Cas..." I sob, my heart breaking and he takes a sip of his drink.

He looks older, not in a bad way but more withdrawn.

He's grown beards and my hands itch to stroke them, his hair is longer almost touching his collars.

He sweeps the room and my body tenses because I know there's no way he will not notice me if he sees me.

He gets distracted when a female touches his shoulder and jealous rage sweeps through me.

I don't even know why I'm angry, it's been 3 years, did I think he wouldn't have fallen in love or at least gotten into another relationship.

I turn away and Yoel leads me into a private booth, his hands still in mine.

"That's was Selene Mathews, Kevin West's mother, she is married and very happy in her relationship" He says as he crowds me into a booth.

"What?"

"You looked like you almost threw up when you saw that woman touching Kane King" He says and I feel relief course through me at the fact that that beautiful woman wasn't Kane's lover.

But...

"You know Kane?"

"No, but I know of him, he's the richest man on earth and we went to the same school we aren't friends or anything" He says and I nod.

"So, are you an actor?" I ask and he fakes a gasp.

"You don't know who I am?"

"Uh.. Should I?"

"What? Don't you watch movies? I'm King Ryder from the movie Riders" He says and I shake my head sympathetically.

He looks betrayed I almost laugh.

"I promise to watch all of your movies when I get home tonight"

"Well, You can't, you will hurt your self, it will take you a year" He says arrogantly and I laugh, sipping my bubbly.

My gaze move away from him again and It finds Kane and my heart clenches as he sips his drink.

Why does he look so thin?
