Jessie was seated in her room with her sister who was standing close to the window and she also seem lost in thought 

It's been a week since sunshine returned home from the demon zone and they have been no improvement,

she constantly has nightmare and it's really telling on her 

Sunshine's face is looking really pale, she hardly sleeps at night and she has also refuse to step her feet outside the house ever since she was recused 

Jessie knows her sister likes  the outdoor but seeing her scared about going outside makes her really sad 

Jessie sigh softly, she could only imagine what her little sister has been through, but she knows her imagination cannot be compare to what happen to her sister 

Jessie's sister was usually the cheerful type but seeing her like this breaks Jessie's heart, and her sister has refuse to say what happen to her when she was in the demon zone 

 

Jessie stood up from where she was seating down, she could no longer bear the silence in the room, so she walked to where her sister was standing 

Hey, Jessie said softly 

Sunshine gave her sister a tiny smile but did not say anything she just stood still waiting for her to start a conversation 

Would you like to take a stroll outside? Jessie asked 

Sunshine's eyes immediately widen in fear as she shook her quickly

The thought of leaving the house scares her, 

I can't go outside, sunshine whispered with shaking voice 

They will capture me again and take me back to the master, sunshine added with fear 

Nothing is going to happen to you, Jessie said as she pulled her sister close 

I promise, she added nobody is going to hurt you 

I don't want to go outside, sunshine said with pleading eye's as a tear slip from her eye's 

It's okay sunshine, if you don't want to go then you won't go, Jessie said 

Thank you, sunshine said softly 

Jessie hug her sister tightly and stood there rocking her sister
 

A knock on her made her release her sister from the hug 

She made an attempt to move but sunshine held her back, 

It's okay sunshine, Jessie whispered 

Jessie took her sister's hand and walked to the door, she opened the door revealing Elena 

Hi sunshine, Elena said with a smile 

Hi, sunshine whispered shyly 

Are you hungry? Elena asked 

Sunshine look up to her sister who nod her head at her giving her permission to speak 

Yes, sunshine finally said 

Great! Elena said 

Lunch is served so let's go downstairs, Elena said happily 

Jessie smiled softly at Elena before she closed the door and follow Elena's led downstairs

When they got downstairs, the entire family was seated in the dinning table, Jessie's eye's met Michael and her heart skip 

She could still remember their encounter in the kitchen a week ago, she thinks about it every single day 

She smiled softly at Michael before she sat down next to her sister 

They eat their lunch quietly and Jessie helped to clear the table 

I will help with the dishes, Jessie said 

You don't have to, Elena said

Go be with your sister, she added 

No it's fine, this won't take time, Jessie insisted 

Okay, Elena finally agreed

Hey sunshine, Michael said as he sat next to her 

Hi, sunshine said timidly 

How are you doing? Michael asked 

I don't know, sunshine answered truthfully

Michael nodded his head in understanding 

Would you like to outside for a while, Jessie said you like the outdoor Michael added 

Not anymore, sunshine said quietly

Michael did not need a seer to tell him the reason why sunshine was is refusing to go outside 

Don't worry about anything sunshine, I'm here for you, Michael said 

Sunshine look up and stare at Michael for a while before she averted her eye's 

Are you sure they won't get me again? Sunshine asked 

Yes I'm sure, Michael said 

Okay, sunshine said, I will go with you she added 

Great! Michael said with a smile 

Let's go inform jessie, Michael said as he held out his hand for sunshine 

Sunshine was a reluctant at first but she finally placed her hand on Michael's and they both left to find Jessie 

Both Michael and sunshine entered the kitchen and they saw the tap running while Jessie was standing with her arms fold and lost in thought 

Michael walked slowly to where she was standing and put off the tap, which Jessie still failed to notice 

Michael wrapped his hands around Jessie from behind 

 

What's wrong? He whispered close to her ears 

Jessie quickly turn to face Michael who was still holding her 

It's just.......

She paused when she noticed her sister standing at a corner watching them,

she immediately pulled back from Michael leaving a little space between them 

She looked from sunshine to Michael questionably

We are going out for a while, Michael said 

Really? Jessie asked 

Are you okay with it sunshine? Jessie asked 

Sunshine nodded her head 

I will go with you guys, Jessie said, let me just finish washing this, she added 

Do you mind waiting for us in the living room? Michael asked sunshine 

Sunshine did not reply but she left the kitchen and head for the living room 
 

 

What's up? Michael asked 

I'm just worried about sunshine, Jessie said 

And she has refused to tell me what happened to her in the demon zone 

It will take her time to open up, Michael said softly 

Don't think too much about it, Michael added 

They were both quiet for something and Michael's eyes went straight to her lips and without thinking he used his fingers to trace Jessie's lips slowly,  he smiled softly when jessie shiver from his touch 

I have never kissed anyone before, Michael said softly 

But I really want to kiss you, he added leaning more 

Jessie's heart was beating very fast and she thought it will pop out of her chest 

I'm going to be his first kiss, she said to herself 

I know he probably has a soulmate somewhere but right now I don't care because I really want to kiss him 

Jessie pushed the thought of Michael having a soulmate to the back of her mind and lean more into Michael 

"Kiss me" she whispered against his lips 

 

It's was still Michael first kiss even though he really wants to place his lips on Jessie's, he was silently praying in his head not to mess things up 

Slow and uncertain he placed his lips on Jessie's 

It was nothing he has ever imagine a kiss would be like, 

Her lips were soft and smooth, he pushed her against the wall and wrapped his hands around her waist as he kiss her and soon they both establish a growing rhythm

Slowly Michael pulled back a little and both of them were breathing heavily, 

Michael looked at Jessie uncertainty waiting for her reaction but Jessie kept quiet and her eye's were still closed 

Michael started feeling anxiou as Jessie was still silent 

Did she not like it? He asked himself 

Jessie? He whispered softly 

Jessie slowly open her eyes and stare at Michael with a beautiful smile 

I can't believe this is actually your first kiss because you are really good at it, Jessie said softly 

Does that mean you like it? Michael asked 

Like? Jessie asked 

I love it, Jessie said grinning widely at Michael 

I'm glad you do, Michael said

Hurry up and finish this dishes and meet me in the living room, Michael said 

Okay, Jessie said and placed a soft kiss on Michael's lips before he left 

 

It did not take time for Jessie to join them in the living room 

Are you ready to leave? Michael asked 

Yes, Jessie said holding out her hand for her sister who quickly grabbed her hands 

During their walk outside, Michael would occasionally glance at Jessie and smile 

Their walk was very peaceful but sunshine was feeling very uneasy as she was walking with them,

she would occasionally look behind her shoulder to see if anyone was behind them and she would tense up when she see any strange people,

but Michael and Jessie keep on telling her that everything is alright that nothing was going to happen to her 

They later returned to the house after an hour of been outside 

They sat down and have dinner together before Jessie and sunshine left for their room

Michael was seated in the living room alone with a huge smile on his face, the kiss he shared with Jessie earlier that day awaken a new level of feeling for jessie

I really like her, he said to himself and after the kiss we share I'm really sure she feels the same way 

I can't believe I'm this lucky to get a second chance in love 

He shook his head slightly and was about to close his eye's when he saw somebody moving towards  him 

He was so distracted by his thoughts that he did not hear the  footsteps of the person until the person has gotten close to him 

Sunshine? Michael asked 

Yes, it's me, she answered 

What are you doing here? Michael asked 

Are you okay? He added 

I had a nightmare, she whispered softly 

Can I seat here with you? She asked

Yes, Michael said and sunshine immediately sat next to him and rest her head on his shoulder 

Where is Jessie? Michael asked 

Sleeping, sunshine answered 

Why did you not wake her up? Michael asked 

I did not want to distrub her, she said 

Okay, Michael said and kept quiet

It didn't take long for Jessie to run downstairs and she sigh in relief when she saw her sister with Michael sleeping soundly, 

When she woke up  earlier on and did not see her sister on the bed she panicked and thought the demon's had captured her sister again, seeing her with Michael made her really happy 

 

She moved closer to them and Michael look up to meet her eye's 

Hey, she said softly 

Hi, Michael said 

Come join us, he said 

Jessie immediately sat next to her sister, she leaned in and kissed Michael softly and Michael wrapped his hands around them 

Jessie sigh softly and close her eyes and drift off to sleep 

Michael smile softly as he watched them sleep.
