Synder-Ella - Episode 39

The whole area was overcrowded as all people of high nobilities came to grace the wedding of their prince and the coronation of the new king and queen.

Queen Synderella sat in the most beautiful gown with a tiara tucked in her hair, beside her husband and her king.  Their hands were intertwined as they smiled to each person that came to drop their wedding gifts.

Zichat walked to the food table for the fifth time to serve herself some food.

. She was dressed in a flowing green gown, her hair was piled at the top of her head and she was looking vivaciously beautiful, eating this and that...

“Are you sure you are not going to finish all the food meant for over 5 thousand people?”

She turned around and was surprised to see Peter, the new King’s adviser. She smiled and tried not to blush, he was looking too handsome in his royal get-up.

“Well, it’s my bestfriend’s wedding, as the queen’s bestfriend and solicitor, I should be able to eat as much as I could right?”

Peter smiled. And they both started walking together.

“Everything turned out really great for them...”Peter said..

“Yea, and for us too...” Zichat replied and stopped on seeing Pauline and Katrina, hurdled in a corner, their job was to keep the whole place clean after everyone was gone and the had already started cleaning

. Katrina locked eyes with Zichat, she scowled at her butZichat only waved at her, “looking  good Kat,” she teased before passing and she bumped into someone.

“Hey watch out!” Mr. Garuba said and then stopped as he recognized Zichat and Peter.

“Oh, hello sir and ma.” Greeted Zichat, to Mr and Mrs Garuba.

“Oh, look who we bumped into.” Shouted Mr Garuba, “how are you doing?”

“We are good. How are you too?” Peter asked pleasantly.

“Well, now that our king and queen has given us a house in the city with a good job at the royal council, I am more than good.” Mr Garuba replied and they all cheered before walking away.

“Wow! I have no doubt that the reign of our king will be better off, he is so kind hearted and generous.” Zichat said.

“Of course, “ he learnt from me. “Peter said proudly, ignoring the look Zichat sent him. “My mom has been made the head cook  for the palace and my dad now has a contract as well, all the new carpentry works are being designed by him, life is already so much better.” Peter said, taking a glass of wine from a waiter passing.

“Hey wait.” Zichat said, stopping the waitress who was Fiona.

“Fiona, hi.” She said.

“Hi Zi.” The lady replied.

“I just want to say, you did a good job, if not for you, things wouldn’t have turned out so well...”

“Yea, I know, Synder gave me the deed of the house, it belongs to me now.” She said with a smile, “now, excuse me, I am still serving my punishment for being cruel to her all these years.” She said with a wink before passing...

Peter and Zi watched Fiona walked away, serving the guests.

“Wow! This is really Karma, right?” Zichat said.

“Yea, it is. So, just wondering how you would feel if I ask you out on a date tomorrow...”

She frowned, “ok, you are still wondering so that means you have not asked me....”

He smiled, “okay, would you go out on a date with the king’s advisor tomorrow?”

Zichat pretended to be thinking, “well, I am a busy woman being the queen’s solicitor, you know, I have to check through my calendar and....of course I will go out with you...” she laughed, “I thought you would never ask.”

Peter smiled, “well played.”

The music changed and everyone started taking a partner for a dance....

“How about a dance first, lady Zichat?” Peter asked with a bow...

“It will be a pleasure my lord...” She replied with a curtesy and both lady Zichat and Lord Peter walked to the dance floor to have a first dance which will lead to a perfect relationship  and a marital bliss which they are yet  to see....
