“She bit you?” Calvin demanded, starring in horror at Ruzo’s arm  as he could see marks of teeth there…

“Yea, that evil bitch bit me!”

Calvin groaned. He has had enough of this savage of a prisoner, it was just some days after bringing her inside and she was behaving like a total maniac, biting his boys and sometimes kicking them if they tried to get so close. He had told them to demand answers from her on why she had gone up the stairs at the club and what she possibly she saw. Each time she had always found a way to do something stupid, now she just bite Ruzo on the arm.

“Sorry, don’t worry we will get rid of her soon.

. Stay clear of her, no food for her today and tomorrow until I know what to do with her. Tell the cook.”

It was his mistake, he had thought she would be gentle and she would comply. Everyday she would stare at the CCTV camera in her room and start raining all sort of curses on them…sometimes he was amused, sometimes he would just think of sedating her…this was not Trista, Trista had more dignity than this and it wasn’t her fault either. Sody and those bloody triads had told him not to put a single scratch on her, if not, he would have dealt with her a long time ago

. A little torture would put her back to her senses.

But he couldn’t do that and he had always watched her behind the TV, for one thing, her confidence and boldness amused him….

However, it wouldn’t be long, she had just spent a week and few days, he was expecting a message from Sody today on what to do about her.

He adjusted his seat and snapped his fingers…the TV came on again. He sighed as he watched the girl on the TV.

She looked tired where she lay on the bed. The sling on her shoulder had already been removed and her whole body was pinned to the bed with several ropes.

She was starring at the chandelier above her and breathing heavily as if she had exhausted all her strength.

Calvin knew she had probably been trying to loosen the ropes again. She just wouldn’t give up. He glanced at his desk behind the bottle of whisky on his table, behind it was her ring, which had grazed the bullet.

He looked away and back at the lady on the bed and this time she was looking at the camera directly at him.

He swallowed. He felt like she was looking at him directly and not even the camera, and for some reason, her eyes sent some chills down his spine….she wasn’t smiling or blinking, she was just staring at him and he was looking at her.

He could feel the hatred burning inside of him on why Trista had to pick his brother over him….he had done everything for her, he had loved her so much but she..betrayed him and the betrayal so intense that he had to kill his brother but he hadn’t meant to kill Trista…the grief had killed her and it even worsened his case…and now, looking at this lady was like seeing Trista again, they look so different and yet so similar, the hair color was different, the skin too, but those eyes, they haunted him…this was exactly the way she was looking when she had said-

‘I’m sorry, but I love your brother….more.”

He hated her for looking so much like Trista and not being Trista, infact if she had been Trista probably he would have hated her more for haunting him ...

Unable to take anymore of the pain and torture, Calvin snapped his fingers and the TV went off….just then his tablet rang and he picked it.

“Sody, any news?”

“Yes my Lord.”

“Okay? Is it blood? Do I have to kill her, extract her blood or what?” At least, with her gone, he could finally end the torture and no more thoughts about Trista...

Sody frowned, “no, none of the above my lord.”

“So what exactly am I keeping her here for, is it not kill her and if she dies I get my mortality?”

“No my Lord,”

“So what is it then cos I cannot keep her here futher again, she has done enough in this house.”

“I’m afraid my love you don’t have a choice.”

Calvin sat upright, starring at his tablet.

“What do you mean?”

“You have to keep her with you and woo her.’’

Calvin knew he had possibly heard wrongly.

“Come again, I didn’t get that.”

Sody sighed . “My Lord, you have to make her fall inlove with you, that is the only way.”

“I have to do WHAT?”
